Beverly Hills 90210

I remember when Luke Perry died. I was really surprised at the outpouring of interest over him. Even RVF had quite a bit of discussion about him. Of course everybody pointed out that he was already 24 when the show started. He was far from the oldest though. The oldest person playing a teenager was the jewish girl. Gabrielle Carteris was already 29 when she started playing Andrea Zuckerman.

Edit: I remember thinking Jennie Garth was extremely pretty. Torrie Spellman was not.

My uncle who's 67 who identifies as an 18 year old college girl just got hired to star in 90210 part deux (2) so cool it with the stigmatization please.

I remember the show and how my little group of middle-class friends, who were now recently out of college, were amused at how obviously it was trying to push this teenage lives of the rich and famous soap opera envy/admiration, while the ultra-wealthy Jewish producer had cast his own not-so-attractive daughter as a main character.

I watched a few eps because I wanted to see the Shannon Doherty from Heathers (1989) and was disappointed to not find the same tone as that film.

I had a chance to speak with Luke Perry at a piano bar, inside Vanderbilt plaza. I was the overnight valet/bellhop. I remember that he was approachble and pleasant. He didn't have a typical Hollywood snob attitude. The main thing he spoke about was his love of 4x4 cross country, jeep type of recreational. He owned a track I believe, somewhere outside of Nashville. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy.

That shows were/are for women. I might have watched one or two episodes. But that was that. There were others after that one with similar themes. The actress did a plastic surgery and got destroyed. She was very good looking. OC was the name of the show. Barton.

Lives of privileged kids are only nice from the outside. Inside it´s the ugliest shit imaginable. Girls are good looking. That´s the only thing worthy. Even though they are drug addicts and whores.

Good ones were Baywatch and Nightrider. There was one of an angel and A-Team. A team with Mr T. Making fun of the crazy guy.

The daughter of the jewish scum who did that show is a complete wreck.

Early life

Spelling was born in Dallas, Texas. He was the son of David Spelling and Pearl Spelling (née Wald), Russian Jewish immigrants...

At the age of eight, Spelling psychosomatically lost the use of his legs due to trauma caused by constant anti-semitic bullying from his schoolmates, and was confined to bed for a year.🤣

His bizarre looking daughter was cast as one of the show’s stars. Go figure.

Anyone here grew up in the 90s? I remember watching this show a lot, though it might be amusing, now looking back it might been a bad influence to a lot of people because it promoted Promiscuity, lack of respect and greed. What do you guys think, if this show never existed, would Society be as better as it is now? Just a thought.
