The "Beautiful" is one of the Transcendentals, and is objective - it points directly to its Creator.
So many things. My wife and children and our life together comes to mind first, but so many other things. Vox Day recently posted about the phrase "bonum pulchrum verumque" which means "the good, the beautiful, and the true." It describes how Medieval Christians saw virtue, beauty, and truth as intimately connected to each other. I've thought a lot about that since, how I basically arrived at the same conclusion myself years ago when I became "red pilled" although I'd never heard it put exactly that way before.
Meanwhile out in Clownworld they insist that ugliness is beauty and evil is virtue. Still, I feel content and serene because I'm in touch with Truth and truth is good and beautiful. Anyone can do this, but for some reason few do and normies choose to live in a state where all opinions that might approach truth and all solutions that might actually improve things are forbidden. Come to think of it, I suppose that the overwhelming unhappiness and discontent in what's called the developed world or the West really boils down to a general misunderstanding of the nature of beauty.

I like the ugly truth, or the hard truth. I find that lies are often dressed up to appear more beautiful than the truth.
Very true. I remember at Chateau Heartist the tagline of the blog was "where pretty lies perish."
I'm sure the phrase on the website was "where PETTY lies perish"....not pretty lies.

The original website (launched in 2011 as "citizen renegade" then later renamed to "chateau heartiste") looked slightly different and was shut down and/or banned sometime in mid 2019. The original website it had a different URL address (http://heartiste.wordpress.com), linked to the "wordpress" website who were the ones who banned it.

It's not the original website, the original site was taken down years ago. It was definitely "pretty" though. "Petty" doesn't work at all for a site like Heartiste. There's nothing "petty" about believing women want nice guys or that all the races are the same deep down. Those are lovely beliefs, which is why people cling to them. Tuscany is like any scenery of southern europe. Except for Vale d´orcia which is truly breathtaking. You can search:
"Panorama il Gladiatore Cosi Bella" on google maps.
Press the first image and scroll down the images on the left section. You will see some amazing sceneries of the gladiator shooting location. Some of them look like paintings. I went with the rent a car through dirt roads. There was a small fountain. The road end and you need to go by foot. Really incredible. I´m going to plant some cypress in my farm. A lot of them. I´m Maximus.
