Beard & Mustache Thread

There’s a number of shaving forums out there, I used to belong to some of them, but I don’t even remember them now I stopped checking
Serious question.... Shaving forum?

How much is there to talk about that the forum revolves around shaving?

I'd think 1 thread would cover it. How does a forum have enough content?

There were entire threads about old razors, about buying saving soap overseas to not give money to Gillette, blades,

It was called badger and Blade, I forget if it was based off of someone’s product or if it was just a general lifestyle forum but it looks like it’s still going

I do think there is something fundamentally wrong with shaving your face. It is like starting an ongoing, futile feud with how God created you. It has no practical benefit unlike trimming your fingernails, its just pure worldliness and vanity. I get some people can't grow much of a beard, but I do think as one of the major defining masculine characteristics, having a beard is the correct thing to do as a man.
Ok. But how do you feel about women shaving their legs then?

It increases sexual dimorphism (so in that way, it would be better). Some women do not have to, or do not much. It's not a hill I'd die on as I generally move towards whatever is natural is better. I assume nuns don't care about such things, they fit more in that "natural" realm. "Not shaving" could be seen as an ideal (not swayed by vanity/worldly ideals), but you could make an argument women shaving legs is in a similar realm as trimming your nails or men trimming/tidying beards.

I am in agreement about natural is better. Certainly I prefer the natural look in women especially in regards to make up and so on. But I have to admit that women with hairy armpits and legs is just gross to me. So perhaps I am a hypocrite, I don't know. But I believe female beauty is a good thing as long as joined to modesty and as long as it is intrinsically feminine.

I'm really torn on how to handle facial hair now. I was sporting a full, thick beard for most of my 20s but then beards became a big trend so I got annoyed with it. Since then I've opted to maintain a very light but full beard, clippers at #1. Sometimes I grow a mustache for kicks. But now I've noticed mustaches are becoming a bit trendy too and are probably still popular with the gays.

I am now inclined to go with a style that is contrarian to whats popular, because I do not want to associate with the rest of the woke millenials, and my entire demographic as a whole.

However I do not like the clean shaven look. I actually have a decent jawline but it just looks weird to me. Might just be because i'm not used to it, not sure. But my skin is uber-sensitive so even using an electric razer daily is not practical, certainly cannot use a manual razer daily.

I'm not sure what's left except goatees but I've always thought those looked terrible. So I'm thinking a possible compromise is just sporting the perma stubble look, maybe with a light stash on occassion.
