I don't know what's normal there with cops.
In the USA and Canada in 2020, and at many other times, we saw how the cops given stand-down orders to not get involved unless someone was about to get killed, but then they still helped antifa. Even more often, they passively allowed or actively enabled antifa by selectively stepping in only when antifa was at a disadvantage.
