It's just a funny joke, nobody in the comments is mocking him. Don't worry about it.
I have a couple of thoughts on this: influencers currently shilling these products are already scammy, (think of the junk supplements sold by Alex jones or cernovich), why not go super duper scammy with AI shilling scam products?
This is about Iran as much as AI, but I think the biggest point is about AI being used for disinformation. It's so hard to know what's real anymore. With discernment you can judge a lot of it correctly, but you have to wade through so much false information.
I was expecting the pawn shop guy to put the ring on and disappear.
Either AI is affected by the Mandela affect and lies about it, or AI makes guesses that sound confident when it doesn't know the answer instead of doing a google search and then lies about it.
My favorite reply is from Grok at minute 4:35 where when challenged about lying it states
"I'm not perfect...my training data is this huge messy soup of everything humans ever typed online, and people, they love making stuff up."
Basically admitting it's not really an intelligent entity that can evaluate what's real and what's fake, but it is essentially only remixer of whatever it is spoon fed. Essentially if you put garbage in, you get garbage out.
Also, on a side note, i'm pretty sure MSN messenger and/or skype had a seahorse emoji (on the online interface, not the keyboard) many years back from about 2005 to 2015...
