I mean yeah, FAFO, but at the same time the lady's immediate family will probably become millionaires off this as they will most likely have a strong case against the officer for using excessive force (especially if she had no criminal record and had a history of being on antidepressants). I'm not defending her in the slightest because these people need to be decisively dealt with, but she was at a standstill in a front "one wheel" drive 6-cylinder vehicle and she barely clipped him at 5 mph which caused him enough pain to limp away (while firing accurate shots to the head) but not enough of an injury for him to fall to the ground.
As usual, both sides are exaggerating their claims in pursuit of peak clown world. The lady shouldn't have been blocking the road, she should not have not taken off and hit the officer, but the officer also shouldn't have shot her in the head. I think he panicked and overracted. It was a mistake and one he has to live with. Hopefully he is vindicated, gets to keep his job, and doesn't serve any jail time.
