If it's not a super high end shower head maybe you can disconnect the hose and see whether the head's flow restrictor can be removed with needle nose pliers- there will be some small and large o-rings that may need to be taken out with a sturdy pin, I used and broke a few toothpicks, or a tiny screwdriver, to get a better hold of the culprit.

I was burning through the Aquasource shower hoses from Lowes every 6 to 10 mos, they come with a lifetime warranty, however not every CS manager will do a one time swap, sometimes he'll refer you to the product maker and the hassle isn't worth it. The backpressure woud cause them to leak, and after I realized what was going on, my current hose has now survived for more than 5 yrs. You can do the same with faucet aerators, even removing the o-rings alone makes a noticeable difference.

In this example the hose comes with it preinstalled, looks flat here, you'll probably have a truncated cone:

There are youtube videos.

Outstanding thank you, I'm going to take a look at mine.....

Trump celebrates Holy Week:

This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity.

Beginning with Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and culminating in the Paschal Triduum, which begins on Holy Thursday with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, followed by Good Friday, and reaching its pinnacle in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night. This week is a time of reflection for Christians to memorialize Jesus’ crucifixion—and to prepare their hearts, minds, and souls for His miraculous Resurrection from the dead.

During this sacred week, we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross. In His final hours on Earth, Christ willingly endured excruciating pain, torture, and execution on the cross out of a deep and abiding love for all His creation. Through His suffering, we have redemption. Through His death, we are forgiven of our sins. Through His Resurrection, we have hope of eternal life. On Easter morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty, and light prevails over darkness—signaling that death does not have the final word.

This Holy Week, my Administration renews its promise to defend the Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals, and halls of government. We will never waver in safeguarding the right to religious liberty, upholding the dignity of life, and protecting God in our public square.

As we focus on Christ’s redeeming sacrifice, we look to His love, humility, and obedience—even in life’s most difficult and uncertain moments. This week, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our beloved Nation. We pray that America will remain a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the entire world, and we pray to achieve a future that reflects the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ’s eternal kingdom in Heaven.

May God bless you and your family during this special time of year and may He continue to bless the United States of America.

One other thing I would add here that ARCHBISHOP IERONYMOS II of the CHURCH OF GREECE told me that was really interesting is that YOUNG PEOPLE are turning in HUGE NUMBERS to faith, particularly to the ORTHODOX CHURCH.

IERONYMOS II: "It’s true that we ourselves are wondering whether this phenomenon we’re seeing is a real increase or just a passing trend."

He said he has had meetings with other ORTHODOX CHURCH leaders to discuss this, and is focused himself on trying to fill the needs of the young folks seeking GOD.

IERONYMOS II: "We observed that there is interest, young people today have a wider horizon than we did, and they’re constantly looking for something more. But there are two main questions: what exactly are the youth searching for? Just the everyday things, the fleeting and temporary? The truth is, young people understand that material things alone don’t satisfy the human soul. So, what are we going to offer them? That’s where my role comes in, how can I connect with these young people if I myself don’t understand everything they’re going through? If I can’t embrace their concerns or if I ignore them, then I distance myself from them. That means I have to adapt in order to create true collaboration."

Greek Orthodox Church Archbishop: Trump’s Election ‘Positive Development,’ ‘I Commend Him and Believe He Is Benefitting the World’

ATHENS, Greece — The archbishop of the Church of Greece, Ieronymos II of Athens, told Breitbart News exclusively he is excited President Donald Trump won the election last year and believes Trump is a force for good in the world.

Ieronymos II, in the rare interview, spoke out through a translator when he sat with Breitbart News last week at his office in Athens. He said Trump’s vision on economic and cultural issues is a good vision, but also warned that Trump needs to be careful to keep the world from spiraling into war. The powerful words from a key religious leader who oversees the Greek Orthodox Church in Athens and throughout all of Greece come in the middle of Holy Week.

This year is also a rare year where Easter Sunday falls on the same day, this coming Sunday, in both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches.

"The election of President Trump was a positive development,” the archbishop said. “I would like to tell him that we need change, such as the reforms he is trying to implement, but reforms that we can and should understand. For example, when the U.S. relationship with China shifts alongside changing economic dynamics, it could lead to opposite effects and escalation or even a war. Europe is preparing for such a negative scenario. The economy is shifting every day. Rising prices are burdening families, and life is becoming harder. My message here is that we must focus our attention on the younger generations.”

The Church of Greece, part of the broader Eastern Orthodox Church or Greek Orthodox Church, is a massive organization. Ieronymos II oversees more than 100 bishops, and more than 8,500 priests. There are more than 15 million Church of Greece members estimated in Greece and worldwide through Greece’s diaspora, and it’s a critical part of the broader international Eastern Orthodox Church network that includes much of eastern Europe and huge populations in the Middle East as well. Worldwide, there are an estimated hundreds of millions of members of the Orthodox Church—close to or possibly more than 300 million people. It is the second largest Christian communion worldwide after the Catholic Church.

Ieronymos II also said when it comes to cultural issues, such as the transgender craziness the United States is currently witnessing, that Trump is guiding the world away from the radical insanity.

“In Greece same-sex marriage hasn’t been accepted by a large portion of society,” Ieronymos II said. “We believe in human freedom, but that doesn’t mean extreme actions and demonstrations or activism that largely provokes people. We can’t and we shouldn’t force politicians to vote for something they fundamentally disagree with. All of this has shocked the average citizen in the previous years. Then Trump’s victory came and the President made it clear that there are only two genders and we noticed that many global leaders and EU leaders started to repeat the same argument.”

Overall, Ieronymos II said he commends President Trump but also urges the president to exercise caution because if things backfire then the radical left may retake power.

“In many ways, I commend him and I believe he is benefiting the world,” the archbishop continued. “But he also needs sometimes to show a little restraint. People are afraid that if things go wrong, we might return to harsh times. President Trump needs to be aware of the needs of the average person and he plays well this role. But also, I want to remind him that the Church is a force that always can offer support and strength to the people. I’ve always admired our ancestors who used to say that if we want to move fast, we must move forward slowly and steadily. I’ve been following President Trump closely, he’s very active. We do need many changes, but not rushed ones. Step by step I believe he can contribute positively to the world.”

Trump, who survived two assassination attempts last year, has discussed in recent months how he has moved closer to God since then.

“Honestly, it changed … something in me,” Trump said at the National Prayer Breakfast earlier this year, describing his survival after getting shot last summer in Pennsylvania. “I feel even stronger. I believed in God, but I feel much more strongly about it; something happened.”

Ieronymos II also told Breitbart News he is seeing a huge surge of young people in Greece interested in faith and getting active in the Church. He said he and other Orthodox Church leaders have been having active discussions on how to read this movement. It’s a global phenomenon not unique to Greece as the Wall Street Journal for instance in 2023 reported on a massive surge in faith among young people back in the United States too.

“It’s true that we ourselves are wondering whether this phenomenon we’re seeing is a real increase or just a passing trend,” the archbishop told Breitbart News. “Greeks have gone through difficult times recently, and many turned to different kinds of searching. And the truth is, much of the responsibility lies with political parties and ideologies. You can see it clearly in young people, especially after they finish elementary school. Today’s youth are searching. They want a new kind of world, perhaps influenced by the various signs of the times. The real issue is whether we’re ready to respond. We need to first examine our own responsibilities. I recently had a meeting with some of my colleagues who work with the youth. We observed that there is interest, young people today have a wider horizon than we did, and they’re constantly looking for something more. That means I have to adapt in order to create true collaboration.”

Trump Rejected Israeli Attack Plan On Iran & Now Hawks Are Fuming

President Donald Trump rejected an Israeli plan to attack Iran with US military support, which was pitched with a timeline of as soon as next month, in favor of seeking diplomacy with Tehran, The New York Times reported late Wednesday.

The report indicated Israel was seeking significant American support for preemptive strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, with aerial bombings backing up Israeli commando raids to destroy the Iranian sites. The viewpoint from Tel Aviv is that such a massive operation, envisioned to take a week, would not be successful without direct US assistance.

It was during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanayhu's visit to the White House earlier this month that Trump informed the Israeli leader that instead he would pursue new diplomatic talks with Iran.

That's when Netanyahu made the strange and provocative statement that they should "go in, blow up the facilities, dismantle all the equipment, under American supervision with American execution." Netanyahu departed Washington with no major wins - not even on the effort to get new tariffs on Israel removed or reduced.

The NYT writes of Israel in the new report, "They were prepared to carry them out, and at times were optimistic that the United States would sign off."

The Israelis hoped to thoroughly destroy Iran's air defenses before starting to target nuclear facilities. It is believed that many were already taken out during last year's tit-for-tat exchange of strikes between Israel and Iran.

The report confirms prior Axios reporting which said there's a sharp divide within the Trump administration, as we detailed earlier. Vice President J.D. Vance and those in his camp want to avoid another disastrous Middle East war at all costs:

  • This camp includes also Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff — who represented the U.S. at the first round of Iran talks on Saturday — and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. It also gets outside support from MAGA influencer and Trump whisperer Tucker Carlson.
  • This group is concerned that striking Iran's nuclear facilities would put U.S. soldiers in the region in harm's way when Iran strikes back.
  • They also argue a new conflict in the region would send oil prices skyrocketing at a sensitive time for the U.S. economy.
Here's what the new NY Times reporting has to say:

In a meeting this month — one of several discussions about the Israeli plan — Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, presented a new intelligence assessment that said the buildup of American weaponry could potentially spark a wider conflict with Iran that the United States did not want.
And more: "A range of officials echoed Ms. Gabbard's concerns in the various meetings. Susie Wiles, the White House chief of staff; Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth; and Vice President JD Vance all voiced doubts about the attack."

Now the reason for the spate of firings at key Pentagon posts, among them top Hegseth staffers, is becoming evident...

NYT further notes that "Even Mr. Waltz, frequently one of the most hawkish voices on Iran, was skeptical that Israel’s plan could succeed without substantial American assistance."

But for now a military option is being kept on the table as the US pursues talks with Tehran, the next which are set for Saturday in Rome, with the report also noting that "In addition to talks and strikes, other options were discussed, including covert Israeli operations conducted with U.S. support and more aggressive sanctions enforcement."

For now it looks like DNI Gabbard as the nation's top intelligence chief is having a positive effect, as the usual neocons and interventionists can't so easily get their way anymore.

But it looks like they (the hawks and the Israeli lobby/AIPAC) are currently trying to get everyone opposed to war with Iran fired. On Wednesday a third official was escorted out of the Pentagon, with security credentials removed:

A third high-level Pentagon staffer has been placed on administrative leave in two days as part of a probe into media leaks.

Colin Carroll, chief of staff to Deputy Secretary of Defense Stephen Feinberg, was escorted out of the building on Wednesday, following Dan Caldwell, senior advisor to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Darin Selnick, deputy chief of staff to Hegseth.
"We can confirm that Mr. Carroll has been placed on administrative leave pending investigation. We have nothing additional to provide at this time," a defense official told Fox News.

God bless Donald Trump and may the Lord protect him as he avoids even more war.

I am extremely glad that Trump has backed down on war with Iran. Strictly speaking I would say Hegseth and Gabbard ran point on stopping this, and Vance joined in. They deserve the credit more than Trump. It might just be Trump throwing around big threats as an initial negotiating ploy. Trump as the bad cop, and the others as the good cops. To me, attacking Iran was an insane idea to even consider, even in a good cop bad cop routine.

Unfortunately, while Israel didn't get their way this time, I think Trump still errors on the side of shilling for Israel and jewish interests generally.

Trump is the one who nominated those people and got them in, so it's all to Trump's credit.

God is the one who nominated those people and got them in, so it's all to God's credit.

I fixed it.

That said, God chose Trump to lead them, and Trump has been humble and virtuous since the attempted assassination.

He even prayed for Angel Michael's protection afterwards.

I think that is greatly to his credit.

God is the vine.

Can anyone here attest that church attendance in Greece has actually risen?
