I think your protections would be stocks and crypto. What is stopping Wall Street big boys, who get bailed out, from purposely crashing those markets and then buying them at lows, if they desire to do so? We have already seen flash crashes, especially in a market like crypto that isn't regulated or tied to any real-world value.

These are good questions. They don't cause crashes, but they do coordinate big corrections or dips, and those are indeed enough for them to take advantage of the large number of retail players, who commonly panic. The structure and debt cause crashes, which they will then pull if they see they can't do anything about it (as in 2008).

I think volatility reigns but the reset and larger systemic issues won't be happening until closer to 2030. If you believe in the karmic retribution thing that requires the evildoers to reveal their intentions or plans, there is no clearer than the 2030 plan/reset. It's the one thing that has been broadcast worldwide for over 5 years already (since the cov-scamdemic).

Today on Remembrance Day / Veterans Day I was watching this...the original video was from a few days ago, from Good Morning Britain. Two 100-y.o. WW2 veterans, one British, one a USMC Silver Star recipient (01:24)...who believed in what they were fighting for at the time...
But now? Not so much...

Simultaneously heart-braking and infuriating.

I saw this today as well and it was very sad. The US is going in the same direction unless things turn around. I can’t imagine how these men feel seeing their friends killed and sacrificed, for what has become a diverse, morally bankrupt shit hole.

We have had this discussion before. Even if a man chooses to live simply he still must work his ass off to save and invest for the future to afford early retirement and also to be able to provide for a woman.

You still need at least $1 million in capital for a comfortable third world country retirement and at least $2 million for a comfortable 1st world country retirement. That is assuming you are single or a couple but childless.

Not every man plans on remaining single the rest of their lives and which man wants to deal with an insufferable career woman who will contribute financially but make your life hell in return.

Yes, it is possible to check out, but, it's much easier if you are a guy willing to be single. Nothing wrong with that if you are going to be a role model for the rest of us that are mired with making concessions to "live" within this nasty culture. It's very difficult if you are going to try to provide for whatever needs the woman you found wants, and, even more difficult juggling the wants of kids. Women and kids are much more susceptible to the society around them than us. We can do it. I don't think they can. They are designed for community, nurturing, being nurtured, etc. And, as we have discussed, general society is currently giving no favors for our types. The conundrum is this: If you ask them to live the same life you are capable of - a simple, stripped down, (in my opinion) beautiful life - I guarantee you - you will be risking some crazy psychological issues with a wife and things like meth addictions from kids because they will not be able to deal with the disconnection from "society" like we can. This kind of hardship is too great for them to bear. What is the solution? I don't think there is one. Only partial patches given the culture we live in. Make due where you can. Finding a good church community helps, but it's no silver bullet either, and no guarantee.

I have my eye on the Amish.

God put man in the garden to tend it. Work predates the fall of man and subsequent curse. There is nothing wrong with working hard, what else are you going to do with your life? Sit around and be idle?

Working simply to "be rich" however is definitely a problem...

Hands down, America (with all of it's problems) is still one of the easiest countries to be successful in and anyone in here complaining about how bad it is should just try going to the 3rd world and see how it works for them there. Folks (and entire countries) are poor for a multitude of reasons and one's attitude/outlook is the main reasons. Can-do and never-say-die attitudes, along with a healthy dose of faith in God built the west. Winners win and whiners whine.
