This people dont understand to whom they really work for. Its not jews. Or any special group. They work. Their boss is the population. Its something happening all over the west.
Not sure how Iran can close down strait of Hormez without alienating the rest of the Arab world. I don't think Iran can afford to make more enemies.
That's why they are just striking Israel, not American bases, nor shutting down the strait. I think it's really their only play right now.
What it really comes down to is public morale. Which side will give up first? If Iranians rally around their government then this war will could last a decade. I don't think Israeli citizens are as motivated. They need a fast victory or for America to step in.
Bibi is surviving by a political thread right now. His ruling coalition survived by exactly 1 vote, he managed to buy himself a few extra months until the next coalition vote. That's why he's attacking Iran, encouraging chaos to stay in power and avoid jail. He's a little Stalin and I can't believe he gets any respect from America. Surely even our bought out politicians can see this guy isn't popular in Israel.

Israel is bombing Iran again today. They just keep doubling down. I thought maybe after last night the USA would step in and stop this back and forth.
Also everybody needs to remember Iran has had massive brain drain ever since it became an Islamic Republic. The best and brightest in Iran have been leaving the country for decades now. Plenty of Iranian engineers, doctors, software developers, businessmen etc living in the west currently. This has pushed down the average IQ of the remaining population in Iran.
We are not seeing these results in the real world. The west is in in a worse place since bringing in these "engineers" while Iran is developing technology, for pennies on a dollar, that challenges us, despite heavy sanctions.
Capable people in the west are hamstrung by the DEI system and idiocracy. If you are a good engineer working for a woke company all your hard work will just get flushed down the toilet because the higher ups are morons. Boeing had a lot of smart engineers but the greedy financial people in Boeing overruled them and cut corners to boost short term profits and thereby their bonuses.
I find the opposite to be true regarding Iranians in the West now. I had an Iranian doctor who was great but went back to Iran and now I'm stuck with Indians or Chinese, I prefer the Chinese which is strange to say but the healthcare has greatly diminished in the West in general.

You are correct that the west is badly run and potential is wasted, but there are a lot of high IQ people remaining in Iran.
If You're thinking about that electronic interference in the gulf, that's most likely just a countermeasure against Israeli drones and GPS guided munitions.
Now, can Iran close the straits? We know from the Red Sea crisis that they have the means to do it. But I don't think they will, because if they close the straits, the US won't have a choice but to step in and force it open. So far Trump is pretty reluctant to strike Iran, but a risk of a global oil crisis would force his hand.
