The Iran and Wider Middle East Thread

This is all pointless, but it's still fascinating watching countries actually use the technology they or someone else has been working on for decades.

Those air defense systems and jets are essentially dormant all the time, but it's all pretty much routine and automatic when the time comes.

Also, I find the stark contrast to the Russian Ukrainian war mind boggling. That war is not at all characterised by quick escalation. Both sides seem to be fine with grinding it out slowly and settling for the occasional surprise drone or missile strike.

House hit in Haifa.

The house actually looks nice. Proportions are chubby. It would have been nice to see it not destroyed. But either way theres a lot of craftmanship in it. A lot of details.

With Ukraine war it was the same beautiful buildings destroyed. I don´t get it. Stick to military. Why attack nice buildings?

Some Houthi leader also got killed.

Gay parade in Tel Aviv cancelled. 25% of Tel Aviv is LGBTQ. 25%. Imagine this. Every 10 person you meet 2,5 are fags. Incredible. Truly a God forsaken cesspool.

BTW Mileikowsky plane went to Greece when the first iranian strike.

Oil depot in tehran also hit.

This all seems coordinated by intelligence agencies. They´ve set the boundaries. And army is playing in those boundaries. Maybe not. Maybe that´s what Saddam thought.

Dont see any regime change. Why would the population of Iran want to be the next Libya? Or Syria?

There was a recruitment video of US sec defense saying US army would no longer participate in regime changes. There we go. Freedom knocking Iran door.

Trump should be there with his kids. How would that be? Mar a lago destoyed. Beautiful architecture wasted. Israelis got a wake up call. And european leaders also. UK stooge no longer wants to send troops to ukraine without US. Dumb deluded idiots. Reality is setting in.

Whose making bank on this shit? Weapons manufacturers. Oil companies. Banks.

Don't think anyone is doing it on purpose. There's always a margin of error, in ballistics it's called CEP - Circular Error Probable. There's also the debris of intercepted missiles and interceptors falling from the sky.

With Ukraine I don't think it was on purpose. As for Israel and Iran, these two would have no issue if the other simply seized to exist. This current situation is a much yearned for success for the Muslim world. Keep in mind that Muslims generally consider Hitler a great man, because of what he apparently did to the Jews.

They would love for Israel to disappear, but I don't see that happening.

If US military wouldn´t be supporting Israel defenses this war would end in 5 mnts. Probably wouldn´t even have started. It´s the same shit than Ukraine. The difference is Israel has no population to sustain what ukrainians are enduring. 9M population.

This escalates US will have to directly engage iranians. And boxes with american flags will start to be shipped back to US. Something like a Vietnam scenario. Totally useless shit.

A city with 25% of faggots. It´s queerland. Jews are truly beasts who need to be converted to christianism. Muslism are animals. Same goes for them.

Something feels wrong about seeing rockets hitting Israel like this. Even though jews deserve the punishment and more. But it does leave a bad taste.

Regime change might actually happen in Israel sooner than Iran:

Head of Israel's Shin Bet intelligence agency resigns.

^ 25% was also the percentage of Christians living in Palestine before Israel pushed them out.

It seems like the impact speed of these Iranian missiles is very variable, some are slow enough for the air defense to stop them, others close in way faster, looking unstoppable. The missile war is essentially a war of attrition, the advantage being with the attacker as it often takes several missiles to intercept an incoming one.

Different types of missiles=different speed.
But You also have to account for perspective - far away objects seem to move slower.

Israel urges U.S. to join war with Iran to eliminate nuclear program

The German Airbus A400M Atlas refueling tanker over Jordan activated its transponder for a few minutes, which has now been deactivated. The German Air Force (Luftwaffe) has likely joined the defense of Israel, although its participation has not been officially announced.

The main objective of the Israeli attack, regime change in Iran, doesn't look very likely at this point. There seems to be a rally around the flag sentiment, even among secular anti-mullah Persians.

Iran has the advantage of open supply lines from Russia through the Caspian, and potentially from China through Pakistan, so they might not run out of missiles anytime soon. The same cannot be said about Israel in terms of AA interceptor missiles, the US total monthly production of Patriot PACs is around 50 per month, tops, a drop in the bucket in this long range missile war, and the stocks have already been depleted by 3 years of war in Ukraine.

The Russians must be very pleased at the US/NATO diverting critical weapon systems to Israel, just as they are scaling up their operation across Ukraine.
