Also if true, a lot of guys around here have some apologies to give. They might send a competent assassin after him now. Big if true.

What do you mean? Right now drugs are cheap in India because US consumers subsidize the cost. We're paying $50k for a drug that costs $1k there. Those $1k drugs are still making a profit because marginal manufacturing costs are quite low. The big cost is fixed and that's R&D. So price discrimination makes a lot of sense. How is this feasible when India has drug prices close to nothing?

Now, companies will jack up prices worldwide but they will fall in the US. Under the new law, they will have to determine a uniform global price that allows them to break even. Maybe it will be $15k or something. Good for us, not good for India.
Actually India will no longer be able to afford these drugs. So what I'm thinking is they'll just start manufacturing them themselves and give the middle finger to Big Pharma. That will further cut their profits. Brazil already did this for HIV drugs.
Now if we can just get Big Pharma to stop producing all of these useless drugs that only hurt people and just focus on the actually effective ones, that will drastically cut prices. But their model is to maximize profit, not save lives or benefit consumers. And the system rewards this. Advertising needs to be banned as well as kickbacks to doctors.
Yes the system is incredibly corrupt. What really needs to happen is the criteria for drug approval must be tightened. Right now all you have to do is prove something works better than a placebo (and this is important) against the particular endpoint of interest, and that it won't instantly kill or maim you. There is no overall cost/benefit analysis. A drug that lowers blood pressure by 10% while simultaneously increasing bone loss by 20% will get approved. Because the bone loss is slow to observe and it's not their endpoint of interest. They're like a driver that doesn't check his blind spot when merging.Your last paragraph is the most important thing that could possibly happen out of this.
I often have to stop myself from getting involved with people who have health issues but often times I can't help myself. Doctors do everything from a script, finding a doctor that is actually willing to try and help you instead of following the big pharma script to avoid liability is very difficult. I have helped so many people I'm close to with the most simple of things to fix or help with health issue but so many times they just go back to their doctor, the doctor blows it off so they stop doing or using what i gave them to help with. They follow the doctors orders to their own detriment and common sense. The very few times where the person didn't listen to the doctor and stuck with what helped them they went back to their doctor and the doctor then tried to almost take credit for it while at the same time knocking it down suggesting it was meaningless. I have a lot of doctors in the family and they have more than once mocked my attempts to help other family only to have to eat crow later but still trying to knock down the fact my aunt or uncle or cousin is dramatically improved and it had nothing to do with nasty pharmacy drugs.....it's incredibly frustrating.
None of the participants died of COVID during those trials. They didn't even test for prevention of serious illness or death, or for prevention of transmission. For example, in Pfizer's study of the mRNA shots, they showed the treatment group did have fewer covid deaths than the control group.
You can find it here in table S4. You have to look in the supplementary appendix, they don't like showing this stuff in the main body of the text. They claim 2 covid deaths in the placebo group and 1 in the vaccinated group. 14 deaths overall in placebo group and 15 overall in vaccinated group. While this alone didn't prove it was dangerous, it sure as hell didn't prove it was safe either and that is sufficient reason to never push this on the public. And note how they "unblinded" the subjects, meaning the placebo subjects were probably offered the shots. This way you cannot continue the study long-term.None of the participants died of COVID during those trials. Will covid-19 vaccines save lives? Current trials aren’t designed to tell us
The world has bet the farm on vaccines as the solution to the pandemic, but the trials are not focused on answering the questions many might assume they are. Peter Doshi reports As phase III trials of covid-19 vaccines reach their target enrolments, officials have been trying to project calm...www.bmj.com
Just like the TV (news, drug commercials, tv shows) instructs them.Your last paragraph is the most important thing that could possibly happen out of this.

I guess they did determine a few people to have died of COVID in that trial. Still too few for the trial size to conclude that the experimental mutagen could make a difference. You can find it here in table S4. Also adverse events were more than twice as high in the vaccinated group. Any physician or biostatistician worth his salt would never endorse this. The fact that something with these characteristics can be approved tells you how pervasive the corruption is, and how the medical community sold out the American people to Fauci.
