Switzerland has a 100% tariff on imported strawberries (usually from warmer countries like Spain or Egypt) but that tariff only applies during their short growing season in Summer. The rest of the year, when there are no local strawberries, no duties apply on imported berries.

And around 7.3 million people voted over the entire 4 days of advance polling; that's more than 18% of our population. I voted on the first day myself, as soon as the polls opened. Hopefully we'll have a record turnout on Voting Day as well.^Record turnouts might be the reason.

Justin Trudeau had to be in the top ten worst prime ministers of all time and I mean not just in Canada I mean when considering all countries. At least you cannot possibly get worse than that. It was absolute rock bottom.
What doesn't make sense about this to me is how angry they are at Americans for wanting to do the same thing.

11 people were killed and more than 20 injured last night in East Vancouver when a deranged individual launched a car ramming-attack during a Lapu Lapu Filipino block party/cultural festival.
VPD haven't released the name of the attacker yet, so I'll apply Coulter's Law here and put my money on them not being White. Specifically, that they're Punjabi/Sikh.
Both cultures publicly deny it, but it's an open secret here that they hate each other. And of course, Sikhs are a known violent culture...
Apparently, Canada's Top Raghead, Jagmeet Singh attended the event. Here's what he had to say...possibly attempting to obfuscate/divert attention from Filipino-Indian ('Brown-on-Brown') hostility/animosity:

Canada is in shit right now. Polymarket has the odds at a 77% Liberal victory with a very possible majority government. Polls suck at predictions but bookmakers don’t.
The Liberals under Carney will make us want back Trudeau. Watch for more green energy fiasco, online censorship, bans of everything from more guns to gas engines, full steam ahead on DEI.
I used to not be too concerned about those agendas because I thought there was no way it would fly, voters would ultimately reject it. Unfortunately not for several different reasons. Immigration of people who’ve never known life in the old western world, a generation who’s been indoctrinated in liberal ideologies, people sucking the government tit, etc.

When I grew up a few decades ago Canada was a safe, clean, organized and prosperous white utopia that punched above our weight on the world scale. It’s astounding how fast it’s gone to shit… but that makes me think… how quickly could willful people accomplish something else dramatic?
China and the USA have their own problems that I want no part of. It’s time for a new beginning.
