A black high school girl in a track meet loses her mind and commits an unprovoked assault on another runner. Jason Whitlock, one of the few black commentators these days that I respect, beautifully sums up the problem with today's youth, with a particular focus on his own race.

NEW: The Virginia runner who bashed the head of an opponent with a metal baton holds a rally after getting charged with assault.

Alaila Everett started sobbing while holding a rally outside of her high school in Virginia.

Portsmouth NAACP is now *defending* Everett and says anyone who suggests she purposely hit runner Kaelen Tucker is "shameful."

"Alaila is NOT AN ATTACKER and media headlines that allude towards that in any way is shameful," they said in a statement.

At her rally, Everett thanked everyone for showing up & doubled down on her claim that the assault was simply an accident.

"I would never harm anybody. I'm not a fighter, I'm not even confrontational, I wouldn't even do that on purpose, and I thank y'all for believing in me. I love y'all."

Another case where it's more important to try to show blacks as the race of peace rather than have any sympathy for the victim, the supposed black life that matters.

A genuine accidental act would've elicited some sort of concern from the girl waving the baton, whether it be slowing down to look or stopping altogether to ensure the other girl was okay.

It looks like after the (clearly deliberate) hit, she starts flailing her baton arm around. She knew beforehand what excuse she'd use and was trying to match what her cover story would be. But only someone with the brain of a young child would think this could fool anyone.

Yep, either immediately or right after the race. And then she would stuck around that girl's parents, coaches, teammates etc. for a while, would have checked up on her the next day etc. She was obviously bitter that she getting her butt kicked.
