Lounge of The Russian-Ukrainian War

Other sources say the Russians were unsuccessful

Major copium.

Sure, probably several of the men who took part in the operation were injured or killed, but that was a high risk operation and it definitely paid off.

Ukrainian supporters claiming that 80% of men who went through the pipeline were killed based on a video of cluster munitions exploding near them is major cope. How would they have succeeded to collapse Ukrainian defenses as they did had this been the case?

There are plenty of ways that Ukraine can lose the war. Lack of manpower is one. Lack of weapons is another due to the fact that even if the NATO block has the money it will take them years to ramp up weapons manufacturing and in the meantime Ukraine could lose.

But the one constraint NATO doesn't have is a lack of money. In this regard NATO far surpasses Russia. The question is there the political will to spend this money on the war (populations in the NATO countries might start voting against political parties supporting the war) and how long will it take them to ramp up weapons manufacturing.

I'd point out that resources and assets > money. The money doesn't matter if you can't produce enough weapons.

Well, I'm pretty sure a bunch of Russians died in the process. Therefore, I'm not surprised to footage of Russians getting hit, but that doesn't mean the mission wasn't a success. It's obviously hard to tell who is telling the truth.

If they're detected before they can start doing damage, the mission was not a success. Small units like that are easily destroyed once their position is fixed.
