Latest Canadian Lunacy

The Canadian strain of TDS does indeed seem to be particularly vicious.

Jack Daniels noticed. The CEO made a statement that the move was unfair because America didnt stop sales of Canadian goods only placed tariffs on them. He wasn't overly concerned though because the Canadian market only accounted for 1% of their total sales and the company is still set to grow 8% this year.
Its not that whiskey sales in Canada are insignificant, its that Canada already makes better whiskey out of the proper grain material.
He also said that the Mexican market accounts for 7% of sales, so if the mexicans followed suit then that would wipe out Jack Daniels growth for the year. That would leave a mark.

I love me self some Canadian Club whiskey over US bourbon dare I say it.

No, I'm sorry to admit I was trolling. McCormick is the cheap bar brand used for well drinks. I was implying (correctly I think) that it is still better than CC.

I think Canadian Club gets around because of the name and it’s cheap so bars outside Canada can stock it as their Canadian Rye whiskey choice. But yeah, everyone in Canada knows it’s average at best. Try these if you get the chance.

The pills are for use in the event of an emergency for people living in and around the “secondary zone,” which is within 80 kilometres of Michigan’s Enrico Fermi 2 Nuclear Generating Station.

While the level of risk has not changed at Fermi 2, the regulatory framework for Canadian nuclear installations has been updated.

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission has mandated that all residents living within the primary (16.1 km) and secondary zones of Fermi 2 to be as prepared as all other Canadian residents.

That push for preparedness has come amid heightened tensions between Canada and the United States — and those who picked up tablets Wednesday said they’re worried, unclear about what’s coming next.
