I can't help but notice that Nick Fuentes loves to bring up things people said years ago and boast about it.
This is the kinda behaviour we see in leftists. It has no benefit to us. Our ability to forgive people who admit they are wrong is our strength.

Anyway Italians are western Europeans they are white whether they call themselves that or not in the USA, they are caucasians

Italians are White because they are European. White is a term for Pan-European ethnicity. Caucasian is a racial category for people that include Europeans and MENA as well. I believe Indians are considered Caucasian as well.

I'm not sure how accurate that is, since only Sicily was invaded by Islam, whereas all of Spain was invaded. It seems a bit weird. Albania was also invaded by Islam and only returned to being majority Christian recently.

Sicily was an island that was invaded alot throughout history, Italy isnt just Sicily what about the mainland? Portugal and Spain we conquered by Islam for 400 years starting in the 7th century, that doesnt mean they had a multicultural society and everyone intermarried, quite the opposite, Christians moved north and they were divided by language and religion, those who did convert were expelled dutring the reconquista, the Portuguese intermarried with the anglo saxons especially their nobility, Portugal and England have been allies for over 600 years, its the longest unbroken alliance in the world they world between two countries
My Italian friends don't call themselves "white" not because there is something wrong with being "white" it's because if you just lump them in with everyone of the same skin color you are dismissing their culture and who they are.....that is the part which is offensive to them. Nobody outside the USA identifies themselves as "white" or "black", identifying culture based on skin tone is a new thing in this world.

Kind of funny to think someone would look at Leonardo Da Vincii and say "yea ,that guy isn't White, we don't claim him" LOL.
In South Africa all the Europeans identify themselves as white, both under the Apartheid government and also now under the black government, I know what you mean, white is just the "new" word for European thats the way I see it
