Iran-Israeli Conflict Thread

I still think the comments on this thread underestimate how irrelevant the cost and capability of the American War Machine has to keep this up.

I am not in favor of it.... But the math doesn't matter ... This will continue regardless and I still think America will come out on top based off of our resource control and industry capability alone.

I get that's gonna get allllllllllllll the negative comments here.

But I bet in 2 years this will be nothing....and other than a couple trillion more irrelevant debt there will be zerrooooooo change....

The dollar will still be king. We will still have the most prolific military... And Russia and China will still be second class and NATO will still need us to protect them from their own stupidity
What are the benefits to the USA? I don't really agree with it, but I expect the attack on Venezuela and this war are necessary for the sanctions regime. That said, is it benefitting the USA at this point? I think that this conflict is exemplifying some of the US military's strategic weaknesses, like moving Patriot missiles out of South Korea for use in the Middle East. We keep raising the military budget and yet there will always be a deficit in protecting our power projection around the globe.

Professor John Mearsheimer:

The war is wasting vast amounts of advanced weaponry like Patriots, that could have been bought by Europe to send to Ukraine.
The Russians know that this is having a deleterious effect on the Ukrainian war effort.
The sharp reduction of oil and LNG from the Middle East is causing a huge demand for Russian energy, massively boosting their economy.

The IEA plans a massive release of oil reserves, in a bid to lower soaring prices. How long will these last? US reserves are already reportedly below 50%, as they were not restored when the US had a chance to do so.

How many small torpedo/missile launcher naval craft do the Iranians keep in underground tunnels? These could presumably also be used to lay what appear to be mines shown in the footage. It is hard to tell if the same boats are shown repeatedly, and if they only have a handful stored away.

Iraqi resistance claims to have killed 13 US soldiers.

More satellite images of the destruction at Camp Buehring US base in Kuwait.

IRGC: The US/Israel coalition bombed a civilian bank on Haghani Highway, Tehran, killing several employees. In response, Iran warns the region to stay away from US/Israeli affiliated banks, as they have now become targets.

There is a near 100 percent correlation between hyped up and defiant thirdworldists who near hourly declare that 't-t-the US has l-lost' and fearful and desperate thirdworldists who also near hourly declare that 't-t-the US must g-give up, p-please give up'.
Bro, could you give up on the super creative weird-speak and just write in normal sentences? It's getting a bit tedious and long-winded, we get it, you're a super smart creative writer inventing his own style with cut and paste "journalism" and AI. Just state your case simply without trying so hard to be different.

Reports of three vessels having been struck by unknown projectiles around the Strait of Hormuz.

US Senator Chris Murphy, following a two-hour classified briefing: The goal is no longer the nuclear program or regime change. It is the destruction of missiles, drone factories, and boats, with no planned end point. Effectively, endless war, as Iran will keep producing these assets.

The administration is panicking over the Strait of Hormuz, and have no plan. They do not know how to get it safely back open. "Unforgivable, as this part of the disaster was 100% foreseeable."

IRGC: “We will end the war when the shadow of war disappears from the country” i.e. when the threats have been removed.

NYT: Democrat Senators demand that Trump, Hegseth, and Rubio testify under oath on the war with Iran. They have failed to explain the goals, scope, or endgame of the military campaign.

NYT: Trump and his advisers miscalculated the Iranian response to a U.S.-Israeli attack, and downplayed the risks to the energy market. They dismissed warnings that Iran could close off the Strait of Hormuz. There is no clear plan on how to reopen the Strait.

RT footage allegedly showing the aftermath of a strike and damage from an attack on Israel last night.

The offices and infrastructure of top US companies in Israel and some gulf states, like Google, Microsoft, Palantir, IBM, Nvidia and Oracle, have been added to the list of Iranian targets. They allegedly provide technologies and cloud services used for military applications.

CNBC: Chinese tankers have been getting through the Strait of Hormuz. This was also confirmed by Sal at 'What's going On With Shipping'.

Former Israeli PM, Naftali Bennett, warns of pre-emptive Israeli strikes on Turkish proxies in Syria. I guess they, too, are deemed 'Amalek'.

The announcement of the largest ever release of oil reserves has not prevented the price rising to $90 a barrel.

Bloomberg mentions the resultant fertiliser crisis. Something that Sal Mercogliano at WGOWS has also discussed.

The US Empire is dying right before our very eyes.
You mean the jewish empire? Not even close. There is not one person of extreme wealth and prominence in the world spitting like Hitler while yelling the word "jew!" to a massive audience of applause, much less are they raising an army to fight this evil globohomo rot that satan has brought down upon us.

Anyone else here finding that embedded Telegram posts are suddenly not displaying? Same when using my phone. X posts are slow to load, and embedded images still show correctly. My PC Telegram app is working fine.

^Yes the imbeded Telegram items are not displaying this morning.

"85%-90% interception rate" narrative not holding up in Israel, this is most likely a lower estimate of the real damage there, and of course does not include military damage, the civilian targets are just the spillover:
