Update on the Karachi consulate situation, it was indeed the USMC that opened fire on a hostile Shia mob trying to break in. In the second video an armed protestor is seen firing at US forces. At least 10 deaths in Karachi and 21-38 in the whole off Pakistan. Continues to amaze how cheap life is in these third world countries, not a protest goes by without at least a few dead bodies and noone even blinks. Per comparison: the current Israeli death toll stands at 9.
Riots by angry Shia Pakistani spread to Lahore, Islamabad, Skardu and other places. Shia are 15-25 percent minority in Pakistan and increasingly under pressure hence their focus on the Twelver patron Iran. Shia majority areas are Parachinar, Gilgit-Baltistan and some areas in Sindh. Pakistan's founding father and All India Muslim League Leader Ali Jinnah was Shia.
With economic woes on the way, if the USA cannot end this soon, the anger home will boil over quickly.
The USAF/ IAF are increasingly targeting police/ Basij infrastructure+ civil courts in order to remove the Iranian ability to enforce civil order and crackdown on popular dissent

I filled up last night at $2.59. Today gas was $2.99. The American people cannot afford this for a very long period.
Still 2.58 here in Houston area/ Gulf Coast.
Wti is up 12 percent though. Up to $75 a bbl.
Oil and Gas companies in the US gonna make a nice profit while WTI holds methinks.
It's kinda tucked away in the post but have a good look at those hangars and the used precision guided munitions. Accuracy up till the square centimeter, one could literally pull out a ruler draw a line over all 4 entry points.

Israel is using its novel Iron Beam laser system to take out Hezbollah missiles in the North. So far the number and frequency of Hezbollah missiles is low. Israel has launched heavy airstrikes on Beirut and southern towns in response. Israel specifically targeted the Head of Hezbollah's Parliamentary Block Mohammed Raad. Lebanese PM Salam Nawaf condemned Hezbollah's decision to return to missile fire, calling it 'irresponsible', 'dangerous', and 'giving Israel a pretext'.

Yep... No rush to depress the per bbl price for export purposes.
WTI price and energy stocks generally move in the same direction, with a long-term correlation of about 0.59
As I said .... It's already up 12 percent.
Maybe a deal is being worked out? It would be nice.

US strikes on Iranian backed Iraqi militias south of Baghdad. Iraqi militias were involved in launching smaller type suicide drones towards US bases in Erbil and Camp Victoria yesterday. Meanwhile in Baghdad a large crowd of at least in part armed Shia protestors is again trying to reach the US Embassy/ Green Zone, several casualties reported.
