Like I said, having you tell young Americans they are lazy or try to rewrite their family's history is great for me. By all means. I was simply trying to warn you to not do this as it will not go over very well.

From what I'm seeing it's mostly the people born around 2000 or later that are really struggling. I know I'm pretty lucky to have a solid education and job, but also most of those I know who are late twenties or older are getting by. Not as good as the boomers, but Millennials caught the tail end of America's golden age and had some time in their early or mid twenties to develop a career before everything went to the devil.

I admit it's really bad if you're just starting out in your career. But here in the Midwest, if you are above junior level and have the right skills, knowledge, and experience, it's still possible to get a great job that pays well and offers good conditions. I rarely work more than 40 hours a week, although those can be 40 very demanding hours some weeks.
