I'm on my second fridge since moving out of home almost 30 years ago. My current one is older than my first, though both are much older than me.

I remember once seeing an old rounded top fridge like I have at the tip shop. It had been repainted at least 3 or 4 times. First in a similar beige to original, presumably as it started to look shabby. At some point it had been purple, probably in a student share house or something, then back to a few roughly brushed coats of more neutral colours before finally, battered with the previous colours showing through it had been dropped off at the dump, standing in a line of gleaming white brand new looking but non-functional refrigerators.

It probably only needed a regas, that or just plug it in

I have one in my garage which is set up like a little bar kind of place. Had to use the garage as a little home for a while cause we're renovating, looked at the back of the thing "made in Australia 1984".

When's the last time we've ever seen anything as nostalgic as that? Hit me in the feels a bit.

Oh and she's going strong.

They have powered pallet jacks like this. I used to ride one around in a warehouse picking orders. They could go pretty fast, at least for the environment running down aisles between pallet racks, about as fast as a decent running pace. Fun times!

Yea a picker! The guys who are well experienced with them can drive them like maniacs grabbing pallets and it's hilarious to watch. I just sold two of them for scrap, they are always broken down probably for that same reason haha.
