What does the Scofield do with Galatians 3:7?
It doesn't do anything, which is what I found surprising.
It has all the passages criticising the Jews, calling them cursed, saying those who call themselves Jews are not Jews.
Yet it still concludes that modern Jews are still the chosen people, and that they are Israel, despite being descended from Edomites, despite rejecting their own Messiah.

I heard an interesting take on Satan recently.
Someone pointed out that the passages in the Bible regarding Job and Ezekiel 28 imply that Satan essentially believed that Man was evil because of his nature as a being of flesh.
That's why he tries to prove that Job will not choose God. He essentially believes that Man-kind is evil, and will always choose to go against God.
Which considering Noah's Flood, it's understandable why he has that misconception even after Saint Mary and the many other Saints.
Which brought me to an interesting conclusion.
Of his worshippers, does Satan prefer Muslims or Jews?
Jews are usually incredibly narcissistic, believing themselves to be God's chosen people, and that other humans are essentially animals.
They happily spread sin for their hatred of Christ.
Muslims however, are a mixed bag. Some of them are genuinely good people.
Because of that, they are better liars than Jews.
I always know a Jew will lie. It's practically child's play.
Even chutzpah doesn't work when you know about it.
But Muslims?
I have and have had many Muslim friends, and I would call all of them good people.
Because of that trust, I could never easily know if one of them lied, even though I know lying to protect Muslims is a part of their religion.
Because I can see the truth working in them, I can't doubt them without feeling guilt.
My best friend at work, a Muslim man, actually told me the riots were coming to his house. I offered to be there for him, because even if I was on the side of the rioters, I love my friends.
When it turned out the riots were a lie by the News-media to "spread the message", he told me they didn't show up, and had a strange look on his face.
He didn't bring up racism or hateful right-wingers with me again after that.
In that sense, it makes me wonder. To spread the truth, do you have to risk believing lies?
Afterall, as they say, no such thing as a free lunch.

"Chosen people" is a vague term, which is why its used so much. They take advantage of the ambiguity. The more accurate term would be "Covenant people." The question that follows is which covenant? Since the Old Covenant has been fulfilled and given way to the New Covenant, this is not an area that they want to go. In fact, the true chosen people are the Elect (literally: chosen), that is the people that belong to the New Covenant.

They are not Covenant people either.
They are Edomites. Esau sold his heritage to Jacob for a bowl of soup. He never received the blessing from Isaac.
Modern Jews are the enemy of Israel, for that is how the Edomites have always been referred to in the Bible.

You're not the first person here I've heard say this. Don't know where it's coming from but it sounds too tinfoily for me to accept at face value. What is the evidence that Jews are actually Edomites?

Probably because they included the Sephardic population. Most Jews are Ashkenazi. They have no Middle Eastern origin. The Sephardim have some actual blood from the tribe of Judah.
When Rome destroyed Judea many Judeans moved to Roman Spain - this is the Sephardim. The Ashlenazim are largely of European origin. Judaism is in all reality a religion that post dates Christianity and developed on the fault lines of the Muslim and Christian world.
Eastern Europe - Golden Horde was a Muslim state and the Russ and Polish states
Spain - the fault line of the Iberian Latin kingdoms and the Caliphate. Judaism appealed to the merchant class that wanted to just sell stuff and not get involved in wars.
I don't know. Esau was literally Jacobs brother. Of course he would have similar DNA.
Then again, if the tribes mixed, actual Judahites and other Israelites would definitely have mixed with Edomites.
So it's extremely likely they have some Israelite DNA.
How much is hard to say.
I'm not sure about Ashkenazi though. Why would they have Canaanite DNA if they weren't Edomites?
