I live 10 minutes from work. I've had longer commutes most of my life. 20, 40, even 75 minutes each way. Now 10 feels like nothing to me. 9 to 5 really does feel like 9 to 5.
This is the way.
Anything over 30 minutes starts to become really draining over time.
Now I have a 25-minute commute but only need to go into the office 3 days a week. Even working from home 2 days a week opens up so much new time in your calendar it's amazing.
