Sam is a master of plausible deniability. What I like about him is that he'll openly admit to being "scummy" which is something he has over Dyer. He never pretends to take the moral high ground. What I don't like is that he doesn't seem to think that it's something that Christians should be sanctified out of. There's a certain reverence you have to bring to the table given the subject matter. As for why he is the way he is, he seems to be naturally mistrusting of people in general, perhaps he got burned pretty bad in the past. I wouldn't want to get near him. Not for fear of "getting owned" or whatever, but because I don't think he can disagree with someone and leave it at that, but would start flying off at the mouth and say things that aren't good for anyone to hear or even for the one saying it to say.

Totally agree. I downloaded his weekly sermons from YT and converted them to MP3's so that I could listen to them often for their meaning, but also mood control.
I'm pretty sure anyone can call in and debate him on his livestreams. Including protestants.
His discord "debates" are a joke. Why are they a joke? Because he's also the moderator. This is no different than a shock jock hitting mute on his opponent whenever they are making a point. The reason this chump is afraid to do a real moderated debate is because he knows he won't be able to steer the conversation into his own self-affirming circular arguments. Case in point, the time he got smoked by Erick Ybarra when he called into his show and when he lost to Trent Horn in one of the few moderated debates he's done (even though he had the winning thesis). It doesn't take a genius to see that he is already over his own gimmick and is now branching out into the broader political arena to grow his following.
According to Lyer, 50% of Orthodoxy is a joke too. I told you that he, Sorem, and others are essentially trying to run their own shadow church. They are just as bad or worse than the Sedevacantists. This tweet sums it up the best:
It's wild that someone would think that a church of sinners would be completely free from members who fall into sin and need healing. It's a spiritual arena where the outcome is not certain until we are dead. What's crazy is the prots who think they win salvation like a lottery ticket and after they can just lounge and drool and even fall into pedophilia, doesn't matter because they are already 'saved'. Insane.
The nice thing about being a Protestant is that I don't have to cover up for pedophiles and homosexuals since I don't have some "charism of infallibility" myth to uphold. So pointing out that there's pedophile Prot pastors doesn't sting as much as pointing out that there's pedophile Ortho priests, who you have to run cover for. Unlike in Orthobroxy, I have the means to go after subversives like these.
