Interesting to hear a positive view of Owen. I don't know too much about him but I think his little cartoon videos are really funny. I formed a negative view when it seemed he was essentially setting up a cult like thing with his "bears" group. I'm not sure exactly what that was but it sounded like he was taking advantage of people.

But I agree with the general view that the more truthful one is the more suffering one will endure, and the more sacrifices one will have to make. I've never thought about it in context to someone like Owen before, so that was interesting.
 
Roosh befriended him during his final tour across the US and at one point he made a post in the Owen thread on the old forums that he considered Owen a personal friend and that he would not allow him to be attacked on the thread. Their relationship ended once Owen, who called himself a Christian then (not sure if he still identifies as one now) started making statements such as how Jesus wasn't actually God and also not only denied the Trinity but said it was "gay".

Yeah wasn't Roosh staying at his homestead for a while? I know they had a falling out didn't know Benjamin called the Trinity gay, that's pretty gay of him.
