The Black Fatigue Thread

Been dealing with my own black fatigue. I live in a neighborhood of apartments that are strictly no pets allowed. It's a $500 fine and after that you can get your lease terminated. I noticed some new neighbors moved in a little ways away from where I live, in one of these apartments. I first noticed something was off when I saw a pitbull running through the shared backyards and tall grass. An unleashed pitbull. I'm thinking, that's strange, why would someone with pets be allowed to be here, maybe they're just visitors. But the pitbull remained. I had seen it unleashed near its owners several times. The owners were a black woman, and later on, two black guys. The first time I saw the black guys they were working out in their backyard like it was a prison yard. Immediately upon these blacks moving into the area, they are already breaking the rules, quite flagrantly, and are causing me the grief of having to call the apartment company to see if they'll do anything about it. Meanwhile, I have a 10-year old, and other people around here have little kids, and no one has any pets.
Keep an eye on Your kid and be mentally prepared to put that dog down. If You don't carry a gun, now is a good time to start, or at least get mace spray if You can't.

I was living peacefully out in the country in this old school building that some cool black lady owned. She had just bought it and converted the school rooms into apartments. I was her first tenant and lived there alone peacefully for two months. It was dead quiet at night, and I loved it. Then one day out of no where this black couple rented the apartment next to me and from the second they arrived it was nonstop noise and chaos. The first time they ever entered the hallway to the building they were somehow blasting hip hop thug music on their phone or some other device. The music never stopped. It was constant. And then the problem became that they didn't work and their sleeping hours were 8am to 10pm because they were up all night doing drugs. All night they were talking loud, banging around, and blasting music and the television simultaneously. Of course, being the gentleman and scholar that I am I started being extra quiet during the day so as to not wake the sleeping monkeys and bring their wrath down upon my head. This went on for 3 days and on the 4th day while they were sleeping I rented a Uhaul and quietly loaded up my possessions (try moving a one bedroom apartment quietly), and then for several weeks after that I had to sleep in my car.
This was all around the time of the George Floyd debacle. And so the next day I called the black landlady and told her the whole story and she said "Why didn't you tell me, I would've come down hard on them?" (she liked me and I liked her)... I replied, "Snitches wind up in ditches, and furthermore, now is not the time for white men to get into close proximity domestic disputes with black men... especially ones that stay up all night doing drugs"... She paused and then replied, "Yeah, you're probably right about that."
But of course she kept my deposit anyways even though she jeapordized my safety by allowing unemployed drug users to occupy the premises.

I wrestle with this, because I get angry seeing the people in some of the videos in this thread; yet I have some genuinely good black friends and neighbors—one who is a pastor with a young boy that behaves better than my own kids. I think the true difference is Christianity and a sense of being Christ-like. The black community has been robbed of that by their leaders overall, but for those that are trying to rise above it, they really have their work cut out for them and it’s unfortunate, because they should be the leaders and influencers to emulate.
I don't understand how you can struggle with the fact that certain races are just overwhelmingly a struggle, even if you have good friends from that particular race. For some reason I always make fast friendships with Indians. I have to admit, I like them. But I would in a heartbeat sign a petition to kick them all out for the survival of my country. We live so close to civil war I can smell it, but you tell me you have an internal struggle because Jamal smiled at you once? Come on, dude.
It’s too bad 90% of them make the other 10% look bad.
I struggle with it because I've lived in the south long enough and have seen white ghetto culture that has been on par with black ghetto culture. Throw in some Mexican gang violence and it's a hot mess. We're all made in the image of God with the capability of being like Christ. I'm not willing to write off a people group because the lack of Christ in their culture is the issue.
For me it goes beyond just a smile from "Jamal". I'm talking about blacks I have worked with, been roommates with in college, stood up in their weddings and vice versa, and still occasionally grab lunch with. These are meaningful friendships and fellow Christians. Do I keep a wary eye out for disruptors? Absolutely. Just like I do with suspicious looking whites; here in the south that's anywhere you go.

Absolutely, they have their work cut out for them, and it can cause some of them to spiral. My friends have been accused of being white by some of their own, so it's a lot of work on their part to overcome any presuppositions as a result of the ghetto elements of their culture.
I was dealing with a similar situation a few years ago, with a flaky ex-con neighbor and his neglected pit bull that got out and ran at my kids a few times. Talked to the neighbor about it first time, it quickly happened again, so I called animal control. This led to a few very tense months with my neighbor threatening us and me unsure what to do because sure, I could call the cops but he can get to my place in a few seconds, a lot faster than they can get to him. I'm armed but I have to go out without my wife and kids sometimes, and also I don't want to actually have to uses my guns in that way.
My wife and I prayed about it a lot and asked that the Lord would soften his heart toward us and a few months later, he suddenly got rid of the dog. I think his parents, who he lives with, talked sense into him that if his dog hurt someone or he carried out his threats it was going to go very badly for him. But basically I look at it as an answer to our prayers. The neighbor has never apologized directly, but he's friendly and smiles now when I see him and strikes up conversations about how there are a lot hummingbirds around this summer aren't there or the car in his garage he's working on. Heart softened, as we prayed for. We no longer worry about him. It feels like a miracle, to be honest.
@thinkreadwritecode I'd try praying about the situation as my wife and I did. On the other hand, during the tense months when I didn't know how things were going to go with that dog, I looked into it and apparently the best thing you can do if a pit bull has you or a someone else is try to fall on it in a way that will break its back.
For what it was worth, the neighbor in my case is white, which makes the situation simpler.

I had time to call the rental company today and leave a complaint. I also prayed about it. With at least 3 adult blacks living there I won't so much as make it obvious I am the reason why they might have to pay a fine of 500 or get kicked out. Even if there would never be violence, one can't always ensure one's property is secure when you're at work. Hopefully my actions will prevent any future issue between a pitbull and a person.
I believe there’s to an extent a “trailer park” effect that nobody talks about. I think I’ve talked about this on here before. There’s nothing wrong with the subsaharan race intrinsically. A lot of African blacks and Caribbean types come here and are professionals and run businesses. I think the stats are like 70% of black Americans don’t have felonies or something. I get it 30% is a giant minority and that’s way too high.
I believe the same thing happens in the hood that happens in rural areas where I live. Unintentional inbreeding. Basically all the women have a bunch of kids young. Dads not in the picture and that pesky hoe phase makes it impossible to pin down who he is so they all go on welfare and, or live their parents. The kids grow up, go to high school and start f**king their half siblings. A lot of them share the same dad. New wave of single moms - rinse and repeat. This phenomenon with whites began in the 90s with deindustrialization. I call it the “trailer park effect.”
Now is it a stretch to apply this to the hood? They kicked the dad out of the house in the 60s with the hood! You get the scenario where all the newly minted single moms sleep with the same drug dealer, then their daughters do the same and their daughters. 1960 to present is a lot more time to damage black Americans genetic material. I think a lot of the bad behavior comes from crummy genes thanks to Americas policies rather than simply being black.

Funny you should mention that about this issue, it would probably be hard to really prove it, but you might be onto something there.
Let me tell you a tale of two cities.
There are two places where I would regularly serve black people as customers among the rest of the general public. One was a west coast city with gloomy weather, the other a sunny Texas city. The gloomy west coast city had far fewer black people, and as a result I had fewer interactions with them. Yet they gave us far more problems than the black people among the crowd at the sunny heartland city location. There are a few different factors at play here.
The culture of these two far flung cities is quite different. As you can imagine, there is much less of a Christian presence in the one further west. There is, however a recent history of gang violence that moved in from Californa in the 90s. Still happening out there, too, although apparently there has been some gentrification. Meanwhile, it's always cloudy, which has consequences for anyone.
In the sunny city, there is a big presence of Christians. Churches everywhere. Single motherhood is just not as common in this second place. And its always sunny and often hot there, too. They had a lot more black people shopping at this place, and a lot less nigga moments. They're obviously happier there as a whole.
The more melanin, the greater need for sunlight to synthesize vitamin d. This is problematic for black people living in cold northern climates like Vermont or the Pacific Notthwest. Ive often figured that reason was cultural with the consequences of generational welfare, gangsta rap glamorizing criminal lifestyles, and political correctness always trying to remove the blame. But there's also a scientific angle; these people aren't adapted to environments like the climate of a lot of White countries in the first place. Add a bunch of quiet suffering of seasonal depression to all the aforementioned cultural problems and you're looking at a powder keg.
I never considered that particular angle of the generational welfare phenomenon, though. Single mothers with many half siblings who can't tell who their siblings are is a sad situation in more ways than one.
There are physiological factors that differ in people of different races, even though we are all human. That has consequences. And a lot of the black people who are mad at the world should seriously consider moving somewhere more sunny if they're not living somewhere sunny already.
That being said, one of the best survival tips for a White man is to steer clear of any poor black neighborhoods. You think White people are racist? Wait til you anger one of the hoodlums. It doesn't take much. And a lot of that stuff happens in sunny places, too.
Isn’t it amazing what a solid black family without single moms can do? If the government didn’t encourage intergenerational welfare, black Americans would be unrecognizable today as a demographic. I’m sure racism would still exist but it would look a lot more ignorant. Ghetto dysfunctional lifestyles and habits aren’t helping their case. Maybe whoever put together the “great society” in the 1960s really hated black people and wanted to ensure they never caught up.
I know this is a hard sell, but just intellectually realizing and processing that white people don’t hate you and aren’t out to get you and aren’t responsible for the worlds ills is step one. If white people were that horrible they just would’ve been like, “slavery is over - resettlement time.” But they gave leg up after leg up. I think that will do way more than sunny weather.
