So, I probably should provide an introduction.
I became a member of RVF in early 2013, post divorce and also post first serious relationship (albeit, a brief one) after the divorce. That relationship exposed me to the toxicity that is the BPD female.
It was a very difficult time for me, notably because that brief relationship was with a work colleague who did the very cliche thing of cheating on me with our boss, at a Christmas function (of which I seemed to be the last person to find out).
Like most on RVF, I was eager to improve myself, in all manner of ways, but with the goal of finding a serious LTR/wife.
That was ultimately achieved in 2020 (after many “trials”, I should say) and I remarried in 2022, with our first daughter to follow a couple of years later.
I do find myself missing the camaraderie, the sense of giving back and creative writing outlet that the golden period of RVF afforded.
I hope to add value to this community going forward.
