I suppose it depends on your circle and profession. My friends and I are doing well, but we are all in the oil and gas sector. With the exceptions of those who work at Shell and BP... Because they have been investing in green woke shit for too long and finally seeing the chickens coming home to roost

The current economy has absolutely eviscerated my small business the past couple years. I was absolutely thriving for over a decade, 2025 has been my worst year fiscally, basically ever. I’m looking at getting retrained as either an electrician or plumber. I’m 48 years old.

I’m glad that some of you are doing better and your lives are getting better, I’ll do whatever I can, I’ll survive, but for now I’m basically at my wits end

Prayers for you and your business and family. My folks in rural area of East Texas have also done well this last year, largely unaffected with the exception of Inflation. But I suppose that is more a result of geography and the local industry and Texas being heavy in investor return. Not sure where or what industry you're in, but I suspect that has a large factor in the dialogue of course.

I don't know that I'm 100 percent behind the Putin is winning all the war.

They have given up ground back Ukraine in several of the territories.

I don't believe anything Scott Ritter has said since he predicted the war would be over many times by now.

The guy from Predictive History had a very good point in one of his lectures.

Putin doesn't actually need to "win" the way the military Autists would define it. All he needs to accomplish is to clearly demonstrate that the US military empire is not unstoppable and that you CAN defy it without being destroyed.

Because once that happens everyone else gets uppity too and the overextended American empire can choose between either making a strategic consolidation or collapsing.

He also made the point that it's worked to a significant extent and we're now seeing a lot of resistance to the regime change machine in places like Africa.

Putin has less than 10 years left....maybe 20 if he's lucky. After him it's not so clear the country coalesces around a strong man.

Militarily there isn't a world that exist where the US and Russia go to war. We know that. They know that. It's mostly posturing for regional influence.

I need you to demonstrate why these assertions are significant for them to be worth argumentative weight other than " well muh Afrika is adopting Russian Orthodoxy thus Putin is winning" when in reality almost all African countries are being captured by China.

ETA... The threat to Russia and the USA is China... But we all know that

I don't agree with Elon on everything, (and Trump also supports those legal immigration policies btw) but automation/AI takeover is happening no matter what. If the US slacks, then China and other nations will dominate.

Elon is the only super-rich person I know of that is capable of doing something against his own interest in favour of a greater good. It's extremely rare to see this quality in anyone, especially the very rich. He basically saved us from tyranny with the twitter takeover. If you prefer Trump over Elon, you have to take a good look at yourself and your inner motivations, something ain't right! That volatility he has is exactly the quality of a thinking person.

AI is suppose to revolutionize the world and propel the human race into a new age. It doesn’t matter who develops it first. The profits are not going to trickle down to you.

If your interpretation of AI is drones monitoring the control grid for hate speech while humanoids make my good goy Big Mac then I don’t want anyone to have AI and I don’t give a shit if China is first.

The only people you should worry about lagging behind is the Chinese. These mongrel high tech companies are ruthless and get the kosher funding they need. They’ve not struggling with the cost of living.

I'm sorry to hear that. This has been a rough year for me as well with the DOGE cuts laying me off.

The big thing keeping me going is that it will help the future for my kids.

Best if you take the argument from the horse's mouth. Between the videos on American Empire and the one on Putin, he addresses every point and question you make. Not necessarily an answer you would agree with ( I don't entirely), but he has thought through those objections.

And one the things you'll see in the Putin video is that he says Putin's strategy is doomed to fail because it depends too much on Putin.

Spending and borrowing like a maniac and pushing interest rates down at this point is just pissing on the future of America and the younger generations, they have to actually pay for all of this.

It will "soon" be over a 100 trillion if nothing happens, and the US will spend 50 percent plus of GDP just on paying interest. It will make the US a poor country. I'm with Elon 100 percent here. Never mind what Samseaustein and Get2Choppaberg says...

I agree the deficit spending needs to be reigned in. I'm more of a newt Gingrich fan on the balanced budget approach. Given that Congress has the power of the purse however ... You can't out all the pork on Trump. That ain't how our system be working homie.
