I've been watching Little House on the Prairie:
Still one of the best intro theme songs of all times. Brings a tear to my eye when I hear it. Reminds me of much simpler and innocent times. BTW, I miss Michael Landon a lot.
Great film from 1978, based on the great book by James Michener. It was filmed in various places around Iran, but is supposed to represent a fictionalised country, presumably Afghanistan. Nevertheless, it provides a window into pre-revolutionary Iran and pre-Mujaheddin Afghanistan. The soundtrack by Mike Batt is fantastic, too.
Still one of the best of all time.
