The Zimmerman Telegram was Fake

So I’ve had a long running theory ever since I was young that the Zimmerman telegram was ,in my opinion, either a forgery, or a blatant bribery of Zimmerman to entice the US to join WWI.

Let’s ask why? Why would Germany’s State Secretary of foreign affairs send a telegram (signed with his own name) to Mexico (mind you, a country that just got out of a decade long civil war) and Japan ( a country that they were currently at war with) to join their side in a war with the US, while also being on the winning side of the war against the UK?

My basis for this theory is as follows:
1. It makes zero strategic sense on any basis
2. Newspapers at the time show that US Germans didn’t believe the story
3. Mexico rejected the offer
4. Woodrow Wilson (possibly the worse US president) did literally anything he could for his globalist banker buddies
5. Germany was already winning the war
6. Losing the war would have broken the British Empire’s (I.e. The Bank of England’s) hold on world affairs.

Please let me know what you think, or if you have anything to add.

Zimmerman himself admitted in front of the whole German government during a public meeting of the Reichstag, that he himself wrote it.

Also, the sinking of the RMS Lusitania ship in 1915 by a German U-boat did much more to anger and motivate Americans to join WW1 than any silly telegram. The Germans even paid to publish a warning in many major newspapers right below the advertisements for buying tickets for the voyage. The ship was apparently full of ammunitions, and there are credible theories that the UK and USA let it get shot & sunk on purpose to get the USA into WW1.

I disagree on the notion that the sinking of Lusitania was the main catalyst in America’s entry into the war.
2 points:
1. The Lusitania was filled with weapons arming the British forces, so of course Germany should be feel the right to destroy an American ship.
2. The Germans had already announced that they had unrestricted u-boat warfare and warned that the ship would be sunk before entering the area.

I’m aware that Arthur Zimmermann admitted that the telegram was real. That’s why I speculate that there was some sort of bribery/blackmail happened for whole thing to happen.

Note: Not discredit anything you stated, I’m simply restating the facts to solidify my argument.

I started to post about the Lusitania carrying ammuntion, but I ended up dropping the idea.

The thing is, the Lusitania was sank years before the US entered WWI. It was certainly a provocation, but it wasn't a direct cause of the US entering the war. The time gap was too large.

Agreed, Zimmerman was some kind of traitor. The fact that he publicly admitted the letter was real also made no sense. Why would anyone confess to top secret communications and generate more enemies? Zimmerman may have been a Talmud, and was coordinating his actions with the Rothschilds in London to get America into WW1 so that Britain would give the tribesmen Israel.

To support this theory, here is what actual Germans at the time believed:

The Wiki article is of course biased trash, I'm sure most Germans believed that Arthur Zimmerman was on the take from Talmuds, or was a small hat himself, which is why they showed an actual Talmudic Jew backstabbing the guy on the front. Because without the Zimmerman telegram, America would have not gone to war and Germany would have won.

I wonder if Hitler wrote about it in Mein Kampf? Something I want to check out someday.
