The Iran and Wider Middle East Thread

^ Where did you get the information that he was a combat veteran? I had heard he was trying to get into the SEALs but he washed out during the process. I don't think he was ever deployed.

I thought I had heard he was deployed. He is listed as a "Navy veteran" but maybe he never got deployed to war. I honestly don't know a lot about him. What I do know is he became the face for the decadence of the west, and blew up on Instagram by having teams of attractive women over at his place taking very inappropriate pictures. But this also gained him a large following among young men. Now he is using that fame to spread the word about the evil of Israel and is losing a lot of money and probably receiving a lot of threats over it. But he keeps going, and he is the only one to really stick to his guns on this subject in the west with a large following.

I hope others get on board, but they are not needed. The only person I can think that both might do it and bring a bigger audience would be Tucker, but I doubt Tucker ever goes that far.

To tie it back to the subject, it is very obvious to see how unpopular this war and support for Israel is in the USA. And Israel's real strength is the ability to control the once powerful US military. Those days are coming to an end.

Saudi Crown Prince MBS has decided not to attend the coming BRICS conference/meeting in Kazan on October 22 and the Saudis will send their Foreign Minister in his place. Instead MBS has travelled to Brussels to attend the first Gulf Cooperation Council/ EU meeting which is focusing on creating an economic/hydrocarbon corridor between the EU and the Gulf (hello Syria).

Putin has been a little naughty and MBS wants to send him a clear message. MBS is unhappy that Russia is overproducing oil and unilaterally renegotiated deals on lowering oil production, MBS is unhappy that Russia is selling oil at discount prices which messes up the markets and has lowered Saudi market share, and is unhappy that Putin lowkey contacted the Saudis' mortal enemies (Ansarallah/Houthi leaders) to work out differences.

MBS has a strong hand. The Russian military budget is based on a 75USD oil price and everything less will become a problem very fast. Expect Putin to jump back in line soon enough. Russia needs the Saudis (Gulf allies in tow) yet the Saudis can easily play Russia, China, the EU and the US against one another.

Russia doesn't have budgetary issues, this notion is based on dumb Urusla/Biden-level NATO economic propaganda that claimed that the Russian economy was going to collapse.

Russia has the lowest debt of any major industrialized nation, along with large reserves. The western sanctions have actually been largely positive in revitalizing domestic Russian economy.

Also, your own graph discredits the notion that Saudi is unsatisfied with Russia because they are overproducing oil, it is pretty clear that Saudi market share is declining while the US' is rising.

MBS is just hedging that Trump is going to be reelected, which might bring him back closer to the US, but in the long run Saudi Arabia is going to be increasingly linked with China economically, and politically. That is why Saudi high schools are now teaching their kids Mandarin.

Last year, following OPEC's cuts, Russia became the largest exporter of oil to China. This must have caused some dissatisfaction among the Saudis, after all China is the largest oil importer in the world. Now, if OPEC was to increase their oil production, this would (obviously) lower the price of a barrel and cut into Russian profits - I'm not sure where this $75 comes from

The Russian military budget is based on a 75USD oil price and everything less will become a problem very fast

I believe it would have to drop below $60 to zero out Russian profit margins - could be wrong though.
But in any case, regardless if the bottom line is $75 or $60, Saudis do have a leverage over Russia and it shouldn't come as a surprise if they try to use it. For example to stop Russia from delivering weapons to the Houthis.

The Middle East countries, despite being bribed by the USA to be Israel's friend, are starting to realize being tied together with the satanic regimes of the west isn't worth the 30 pieces of silver.

Meanwhile, support for Israel and war in the Middle East is plummeting among the men who used to fight these wars for Israel. Israel has no idea how much trouble it is right now, because the only men who can save them, have said "I am not helping you this time".

What those outside the USA don't realize is how very unpopular foreign aid is right now. And as it becomes more and more unpopular, more and more ask why are we fighting endless wars. And when the answer comes back to AIPAC (google this organization if you don't know what it is) the anger shoots through the roof.

One of my co-workers just got back from the flood ravaged region of Georgia, 3 weeks after the hurricane went through. The devastation is beyond words. They are still finding bodies, they are still removing downed trees. Many people still don't have power or even running water. A lot of people are in make shift tents and barely getting by. And the govt. is no where to be found. The money is all spent on endless wars for Israel and people are furious. A righteous anger I have never experienced. WAY beyond anger after 9/11.

The USA was always Israel's attack dog. The only reason Israel was allowed their behavior was because the bully USA was standing behind them. Those days are long gone, the USA is a shell of its former self. DEI + covid vaccines have gutted the USA. Technology is lacking. And now the USA military itself, some brave soul in it, might have completely destroyed Israel's chance to attack Iran. The damage from this leak is wider that I would have imagined.
