Because I'm thinking about starting some side hustles, I recently spent a lot of time watching on X, YT, and elsewhere many of these business coaches, gurus, or whatever they are.

First observation, and maybe this will save some of you time if you are going this way.
All of them present themselves as millionaires, making hundreds of thousands a month. Actually, no one says what for, and there is no way to verify it.
All of them spend all day long posting on X to gain followers. Their posts are clickbaits and reposts, and a majority of them are "wise" quotes from Stoic and other philosophers or generic advice on what to do with your life.
Then they want to sell you a course on how to become rich, or an ebook.
General advice is almost always the same. Find your niche, build an internet audience, gain followers, and then somehow monetize it.

Okay, now, my post is not about bashing or judging them. Some of these guys seem clearly like BS sellers, but some look more serious. But that's not a point.

The question is whether going this way is worth it, both mentally and financially. You need to gain attention, otherwise you are invisible.
Today I unfollowed everyone on X because their attention whoring became unwatchable for me, and I'm talking about most conservative posters there. They put anything on display in the hope of going "viral" and are nonstop online.

Do any of you have experience, or advice, or is thinking going this way?

Every good business idea I have come up with in the last 10 years is already being done by multiple people.

There is so much information and so many people trying to make a living these days, that it seems to me that it's impossible to create something brand new unless you are some super duper smart AI or robotics programming dude.

Therefore to be an entrepreneur you are left with taking something that already exists and doing it better than everyone else. That's what I've done and I deliberately doing it in places where the competition is not very sophisticated or is limited or both.

Your mileage may vary.

There are advantages of taking your work online, I advertise my business online every month, it does cost a lot of money so those so called business gurus you speaking about they must have spent a small fortune to get their following and audience.

In the past a person would have to either have a well established business with a really good service and product and rely on referals and word of mouth to sustain them, they would also have to advertise in the local newspaper because thats where everyones eyes were focused on, it what they read when taking a dump, there was also the yellow pages which they would only look into if they had a problem or needed a service to help them. Today nobody reads they news paper especially not while they taking a dump they are on their phones so the way I see it is if you want to actually have people know about your business you need to advertise it where peoples eyes and attention will be on, social media, the internet etc, even bill boards dont work anymore I once was given the priviledge of having my business advertised for free on a very big digital billboard in a very prime location, I think I got 1 lead from that billboard, if I had to pay to advertise on a billboard like that it would have cost me thousands, I get WAY more sales by advertising on social media for a few bucks thats the reality.

Although my product and service is not online but in person I am also slowly adding an online version of my service because I can only reach a certain amount of people in person and only where I can physically travel too, online I can reach the entire world of I want and I dont have to be there in person, thats the advantage, the other advantage is I can work anywhere in the world Im not based on a fixed location so it out day and age where everyone is always moving around the world all the time its going to help you to be online, I think there are still many inventions and great ideas that are unknown that God can reveal to individuals.

Part of my post is just about my shocking discovery of this world of online gurus. When you first see it, it looks like they really cracked it all. Deep-meaning quotes plus thousands of followers.
Then you look closer, and you are left in disbelief at how something so shallow and openly stupid can exist, be profitable...?, and gain followers.

When I first saw all these wise posts, I thought, Okay, they found something, what else? And I started reading more, hoping to find more knowledge. Because when someone is posting on X from 2011, then there has to be more of his content, secrets of success, and related topics, right? Like, here on the forum, where guys are covering many areas.
Otherwise, what would you write about all the time, for years?

But no. You wouldn't believe it if you didn't see it, but there is nothing else, except for every single day, recycled empty slogans.
It's more pathetic than any PUA clown, hitting random girls everywhere all the time, with "proven" tactics, saying them meaningless cliches.

I don't want to post links, but below is all the content that these gurus with 400k followers are posting, 24 hours a day, and nothing else.

A practical philosophy to find meaning, reinvent yourself, and create your ideal future. If you want someone to change, don’t try to change them.
The difference between a mind and a supercomputer is that the mind can program itself. Failure is proof that you are growing. Building a Calm Company changes everything. Embrace Joy Space Freedom Sustainable growth Calm Hypergrowth.

And similar variations of this same word salad. Then call to action. Subscribe to the newsletter, buy my course, and buy my book.

But who will buy it? What else could be inside, when you are incapable of producing anything except empty slogans?

And do you know what is most funny? Almost all of them have in their bios the description "no bullshit, no fluff." :ROFLMAO:

Okay, end of bitching.
