Yes, I've spoken with Gen X and millennial conservative normies, one of which is an Afghan vet. Basically they are still operating under the paradigm laid out by 9/11. Democracy ="most stable government the world has known"; therefore, we must defend at all costs. If we don't defend Israel the muslim horde will attack us (they are super plugged into Shapiro right now). Also, consider that many who signed up for Afghanistan did so because they perceived they were protecting us from something like 9/11 happening again. It is very difficult for some of them to accept that they've lost friends and limbs for a sham. Very difficult.
I can speak from experience because in my younger days as a non-denominational evangelical in the Bible-belt, I was enmeshed in this mindset. A lot of it was post-9/11 thinking (democracy and freedom) with a good mix of dispensational theology (Jesus is coming soon). I even attended a CUFI (Christians United for Israel) rally where John Hagee was speaking. I did the whole wave the Israeli flag and even had a "I Support Israel" sweatshirt and donated a hefty chunk of income to support Israel. I bought into the whole scheme hook, line and sinker.
Thankfully my non-denominational church was a corrupt cesspool which led me to question everything and leave. At that point I had read the Bible front-to-back with three different translations and it all went "downhill" from there, culminating to my own time of noticing the JQ in recent years.
I think what helps people is when patterns start to become visible, and if anything, this whole recent Gaza genocide is a massive pill for a lot of people to swallow. As E. Michael Jones often says, the Jews always overplay their hand and this is happening on a grand scale in the Middle East and also here in the west where they have everything under their thumb. People are going to see the patterns, even if subconsciously.
What also helps is when Christians actually study Christian history. Doing so led me to become an Orthodox inquirer and helped relieve any doubts of relinquishing some lingering dispensational mindsets that I had.
I should also point out, that hanging over the heads of the evangelical dispensationalist is a Sword of Damocles, where if you bless the Jews you will be blessed. Curse them and you will be cursed. It's a hard mindset to break when you start on the JQ path. There is a literal fear of being cursed and maybe even culminating in damnation. It's a path I had to walk and a mindset that I had to get free from with much fear and trepidation. So I pity those people that have yet to go that route. Pray for them, pray that they break free from those chains -- the same for all of those that aren't in the faith, perhaps this could be a road to the faith for them.
