New Zealand Protests

Hey guys, my very first post here. A New Zealander here,

I was wondering what you guys think of the New Zealand Protests that's happening here currently? As I'm seeing reports from international media outlets, and even Matt walsh was talking it. Thought I would make this thread to start a discussion.

Would be interesting to get some prespective on it from people both from New Zealand and those who aren't.

I don't really know what to think about it. God Bless everyone.

Damm. That's some really interesting insight. But where does he gets his evidence to back that up? Most Maori I know are moderately Left-wing or even slightly far-Left. Maybe it's something to do my generation, being a millennial? most I know, are pro-immigration and Most of them were pro-Vax. Obviously this is just my experience though. I have meet Maori who are very anti-immigration too and didn't get the Vax, but more swing towards the latter.

As far I can tell, and from what I'm seeing is that the media is elevating the Maori to having the position of the moral high ground. The whole oppressor and oppressed power dynamic at play. It's reeks of identity politics and feels like more a leech for power then anything else. It doesn't give me a good feeling.

I don't trust the Maori party, but I don't really trust David seymour either, he was responsible for the end of life act here, Which provided a legal framework for euthanasia, he wrote the bill. Which got put through for a referendum vote and got passed, unfortunately.


I live here, and being a bi-racial Maori, I've often found myself in the middle. Not knowing where to align myself. I always found more of a identity through the Catholic Church, and my faith than through Maori culture, personally.

A lot of Maori hold the opinion: "white man bad" and I don't hold to that point of view, which probably puts me in the minority because I don't blame any external force for the conditions of my life. In all honestly I've been feed the same tales about colonization holding Maori back for years, I'm over the victim mentality this propagates within Maori here. Who's position is the right one? Or are they both wrong? Or do they both have good points?

Seems like Britain and all of majority white nations that descended from it are all going insane. This situation with the Maori is just typical with what's going on in all of these countries. Hopefully the legacy white population will get over this sense of white guilt that the media instilled in them, and turn aside from all the other gay and tranny nonsense, and turn back to God.

I agree with you. We all need to turn back to God. That's the most important thing. White guilt is massively cringe 😂 Christianity > Culture.

There was a thread on RooshV a very long time ago, I don't even think I was a member then just lurking, it was about some kid who was retarded and some girl accused him of something nefarious....but really he was just retarded. Excuse me I don't full remember the story, the thread was pretty much about how terrible the girl was for it but there were a few comments negative towards the kid and the situation in general in regards to him.

I remember the kids mother eventually made an account and posted on the thread defending the kid just telling us things about him. Nobody responded to her or even acknowledged it, it was really strange and sad. I'm sure she stumbled on it during a google search of the kids name or the story, something like that.

I don't why I'm bringing this up, it reminded me of it.
