Latest German Lunacy

This happens so often there now that to call it "Latest German Lunacy" doesn't quite fit anymore. The "lunacy" this time is perhaps that it was a woman doing it, instead of the usual fighting-age male.

Woman goes on stabbing spree on German bus

Police have warned citizens not to call the incident a “terrorist attack”

"The perpetrator, identified as a 32-year-old German national..." (we all know what that means)

Germany recently passed a law allowing foreigners to get the German citizenship, without giving up their native one. In all likelihood, this is a way to mask the perpetrators of these killing sprees, so the govt and their media whores can blame it on evil "Germans". It is a schizophrenic nation, full of people with no national pride, who loathe themselves, while simultaneously being extremely arrogant.

I read about this yesterday. I wanted to check today if they already changed from: "german citizen", to "german citizen with foreign background" but the article is already gone and replaced by a new one: 28 year old mother got stabbed to death the very same night in Berlin. Insanity.

Looks like there will be some very good news out of Thüringen soon :)

AfD - 30,5 (+7,1)
CDU - 24,5 (+2,8)
BSW - 16,0 (--)
Linke - 12,5 (-18,5)
SPD - 7,0 (-1,2)
Grüne - 4,0 (-1,2)
FDP - 1,3 (- 3,7)

You never know till the counting is over but so far AfD is #1 by a large margin.

Even in Sachsen they are only slightly behind the CDU

Volkswagen warns of German plant closures, end to job security scheme

  • VW considers one car plant, one component plant in Germany obsolete -works council
  • Cost-cutting drive at namesake brand must be extended -VW
  • Management 'compelled' to end job security programme
  • Works council promises 'fierce resistance' to plans
Volkswagen (VOWG_p.DE), opens new tab said on Monday it can no longer rule out plant closures in Germany as it pursues ways to save several billion euros in a cost-cutting drive at its namesake brand.

The carmaker considers one large vehicle plant and one component factory in Germany to be obsolete, its works council said, vowing "fierce resistance" to the executive board's plans.

Volkswagen said that it also felt forced to end its job security programme, which has been in place since 1994 and which prevents job cuts until 2029, adding all measures would be discussed with the works council.

"The situation is extremely tense and cannot be overcome by simple cost-cutting measures," VW brand chief Thomas Schaefer said in a written statement.

The Volkswagen brand, which fuels most of the automaker's unit sales, is the first of the group's brands to undergo a cost-cutting drive targeting 10 billion euros ($11.07 billion) in savings by 2026 as it attempts to streamline spending to survive the transition to electric cars.

A difficult economic environment, new competitors in Europe, and the falling competitiveness of the German economy meant the carmaker needed to do more, Volkswagen Group Chief Executive Oliver Blume said in a statement to its management.

Volkswagen shares were up 2.57% as of 1325 GMT, after jumping about 1.5% directly after its announcement at 1300 GMT.

'WRONG DECISIONS'
German union IG Metall called Volkswagen's announcement an irresponsible decision that "shakes the foundation" of the company, which is Germany's largest industrial employer and Europe's top carmaker by revenue.

Works council chief Daniella Cavallo said in an interview on Volkswagen's intranet that management had made "many wrong decisions" in recent years, including not investing in hybrids or being faster at developing affordable battery-electric cars.

Instead of plant closures, the board should be reducing complexity and taking advantage of synergies across the Volkswagen group's plans, Cavallo argued, criticising the company's "documentation madness" and "salami-slicing tactics".

Chief Financial Officer Arno Antlitz will speak to staff alongside VW brand chief Thomas Schaefer at a works council meeting on Wednesday morning. Cavallo said she expects Chief Executive Oliver Blume to get involved in negotiations as well.

The AfD made history in Thüringen and the MSM and establishment will be squealing about it like stuck pigs for a while.
Despite receiving the largest vote all the other parties are refusing to form a state government with them. I am a bit surprised, would have thought the CDU would have formed a coalition with them. Just shows that the TPTB really don't like the challenging of the mainstream policies on immigration, gender nonsense, having a war with Russia etc.

It's a great milestone but it looks like they may need to aim over 50% one day to be truly able to govern, will be interesting to see what government forms there.

They're not right wing extremist and don't like it when the press calls them that -

They're just normal, and all the other parties have lost the plot.

Once again cordon sanitaire is the winner. Not really surprised - haven't we seen it already, all over Europe.

It's very unsportsmanlike, sore losers. If it were a sport where you had to get a team together from various subgroups chosen by the public and you completely ignored #1 choice they would be booing. There's an article now which says basically the same thing :
It is funny to read, some highlights :
At least have enough class to wait more than five seconds after the election you just lost before doing democracy dirty.
...Alternative for Germany (AfD) with 33%. And that “something” involves finding a way to keep the election’s actual winners away from the steering wheel. How? By making shady back-room deals with some of the other losers.
Maybe Sahra Wagenknecht will form a coalition with the AfD, they have many similar policies. On the other hand, all the parties which are not the AfD are probably bound by "back-room deals".

Who is this unpleasantly homosexual-looking man?
Bjorn Hocke, the AfD's top candidate for the state of Thuringia. Yes, I agree that he looks somewhat faggi und ghey but German Leftists would have you believe that he's literally THE next Hitler. He was recently arrested, charged and convicted for...wait for it...saying: "All/everything for Germany."
(Alles fur Deutschland)

The murderous fascist!

Isn't some of 'Deutschland Uber Alles' the national anthem anyway? What a silly complaint. It amazes me how a few generations ago our nations were in competition for supremacy over the world. Now we're in a competition to see who can destroy themselves the fastest.

The tune is the same, but that lyric has been removed. Now it's about unity, brotherhood, and freedom. Not dissimilar to the equally ironic French national anthem, La Marseillaise.

He is a father of four and was a history teacher before becoming a politician. Is a true patriot and charismatic speaker, holds rallies as well as speaking in the Thuringen state parliament. He is a politician who is very easy to like, I can think of many quotes and actions which are completely pro-Germany and ignoring the other narratives which the mainstream politicians seem beholden to which he of course gets into trouble for from time to time. Probably that photo was a bad choice to post, they're always trying to discredit him and they found that photo with an effeminate looking expression.
