I think 8 minutes on is what PBD needed to hear, but what really gets us is that we get so worn down when we see what is allowed and it doesn't make that much sense to us. A poster on the old forum pointed out that the very disciples that walked with Christ frequently strayed from faithfulness, and they literally walked with Him and saw his signs - but they recovered in the end and found their way. Our task isn't easy, and we shouldn't make excuses, but we should know what we are up against, and that quite clearly we will be tested - and for much longer than we may realize or hope.
Some posts on social media say Fr. Spyridon has been hospitalized and is undergoing surgery. Has anyone else heard something about his status, if this is true?

I've sadly done this before, of course I'm sure of it several times, given how strict we Orthodox are.
I'm at least pleased to state that I've only been in the nave of the church at least for the last 30 years, if I've been indifferent to observing feast days.
