Exercise for women

Any wisdom on a good workout routine for women?

I lift regularly and am fairly strong and muscular, yet the routine I would recommend to other men (heavy compound lifts, geared toward building muscle and testosterone) would not be ideal for a woman.

I would like to have a routine to recommend that's tailored toward retaining a feminine body shape, maybe with slight emphasis on butt and so on, rather than "muscle mommy" or "thicc."

It seems much of the advice out there for women is tailored toward strength/lifting/crossfit, or else toward building a massive butt. It's surprisingly hard to find good information.

So what's the best routine for a woman?

I think squats are a good exercise for women. Also bench press, to work the pectorals.

Finally, cardio is good for women, to build stamina.

This sounds tongue in cheek, and it's true that my recommendations will favor specific areas of the female anatomy, but really, I think almost all women would do well in the short term and the long term with my suggestions.
