I know that there already is a thread about Christianity in the USA in general, but this is about Evangelical Christianity specifically.
What do these people believe, and what is the message of their Gospel?
It seems to me like some sort of weird offshoot of Christianity rather than actual Christianity, akin to the Mormon Church.
From what I know, worship of the state of Israel and Jews is a central pillar of their belief system. Am I wrong here? Do they use the same Bible as other Christians, or do they have their own version like the Mormons? What similiarities are there to traditional Christianity?
