Does anyone else enjoy playing chess?

I starting playing about a year ago - relatively recently - but I've become somewhat obsessed. I try to solve puzzles every day and I frequently watch chess content on Youtube.

I know there were some strong players on the old forum.

I play and have done since childhood, but I have never progressed beyond intermediate level.

I don't really like memorizing all the strategies. I'm also curious about randomized positions chess, it seems very fun.
