Can Life Gifts Become Idols

I starting to believe yes. In my case, my wife and I have been hypersexual last couple of months. There is something touching my insides, which tells me that my marriage is becoming a god. The same can be said with other life gifts such as food, free time, money, etc. I am searching the Bible which says... don't make so much woopie with wife. The internal feeling, I cannot ignore it

I can't see how this is wrong. Most people don't continue to be hypersexual with their wives through their whole marriage. In fact I'm really understating the case. If you guys are into having lots of sex now, I say go for it while the getting is good. You are supposed to love one another, and this is a natural part of the process.

She'll probably end up pregnant if you keep this up, which is how it's supposed to work.

100%. We can and do make idols out of anything. Imagine if you had a girlfriend that you only really loved for the sex. We do that to God when we love any of His gifts more than we love Him for Himself. Singleness can be an idol. The married life can be an idol. The family can be an idol. Everything has its place and balance.
