Be it a cameo or just a bit part by an actor who isn't a star, who gave a most memorable performance? Try to post a video of the scene if possible.

I nominate Frank Middlemass from Barry Lyndon. His acting in this scene is so good that he greatly overshadows Ryan O' Neal who plays the lead. Barry Lyndon was an amazing film, mostly because of Kubrick's directing skills. But this is one scene of the movie that stands out because of the acting alone.

Roberts Blossom as "Old Man" Marley in Home Alone.

The little known character actor Blossom delivered a performance of warmth and sensitivity amid the film's juvenile antics and over-the-top gags. Playing a father long-estranged from his grown-up son after a falling out, it's a scene that appeals more to the viewer as an adult.
