Residents of Patagonia and Argentine news sources have accused Israeli tourists, usually soldiers, of deliberately lighting forest fires. Jewish interests are reportedly trying to buy out the region for resettlement. Untouched wilderness that was once legally protected can apparently be sold after a wildfire.
Javier Milei has extended state pensions to Israeli ex-patriots. These are usually IDF soldiers fleeing Gaza war-crime charges. Milei has also been changing land laws to allow (((foreign))) buyers to move in.
Previously there had been a law to prevent land that had been burned down from being sold for 20 years. President Milei has removed that law. I always suspected he was a rat.
