Bitcoin and Crypto Thread

Is Roger Ver, Ian Freeman, Roman Sterlingov, The Samurai Wallet developers, and a couple of other folks ever going to get pardoned? Considering Trump rescinded all of Biden anti-crypto policies and the Tornado Cash ruling, it's baffling they all are still locked up or going thru trial...
It probably costs too much political capital to pardon them now. Let’s see what happens in the courts. In nations that don’t adopt bitcoin, this is the future of justice - kangaroo courts against the plebs and lawfare against the opposition. Trump got a taste of that himself.

My feeling is that Ver, Sterlingov, Samurai and Tornado Cash all win resounding victories…more people are aware of chainalysis shenanigans and conflicts of interest, and the Supreme Court will definitely see thru the BS if it gets that far. Clarence Thomas I hope you live to 120.

the US has an SBR now, the Treasury Secretary has been instructed to buy as much bitcoin as possible as long as its budget neutral, and there are world leaders (besides Bukele) that understand bitcoin. This is going to be a wild ride I think.

Larry Lepard crystallized it for me when he quoted Putin saying that “bitcoin is something that you can’t stop.” And Lepard said “do you know what that means? That means he gets it.” Game theory here we go.

I doubt it would cost Trump much to pardon them all, although I heard that Trump dislikes Roger Ver for renouncing his US citizenship and that his case might be a landmark on the constitutionality of the exit-tax when renouncing your citizenship (which it is unconstitutional). Since Tornado Cash's charges were dropped a few months back, everyone else is appealing their case.

Yeah unfortunately the only enforcement of the constitution is the people, as almost every country has a nearly worthless constitution on paper (including china and North Korea) Bitcoin eliminates the need for constitutions and enumeration of rights since it is enforced by the laws of nature.
