Have fun and please be respectful. :)

My friend there are no new members i post my story instead 🙃

I am orthodox russia man from small city near omsk, in 1980 in ussr navy, then in 2000 years I go to Europe, live in Europe get married have kids, become business man and become orthodox again. I do business today still go to many countries but want to retire my friends My body is becoming old everything hurt.

thank you to listen to me my friends, i want show you real Russia voice, weird foreigners hijack my country view this must stop.

Thank you my friends 🧡 💪🏾 🇷🇺 ☦️ 😄

Thank you for welcoming me.

I was on the Roosh forum, circa 2013-2018, when my 2015 conversion gradually pulled me far away from the online world over the next three years, after which I've spent the next seven years devoting myself to God. Whilst I knew many men who would have gravitated here, having made the journey to Calvary, (or having 'run the race' according to my Spiritual Directors), I'm not the same man, so I don't believe it's worth revealing my former name.

I'm a Roman Catholic. I have the permission of various Priests to function as a Catholic Spiritual Director, particularly when it comes to Mysticism, Contemplative Prayer and the emotional healing of Disorders of the Psyche, (the Animal Soul), which can keep a soul effectively trapped in the lower grades of prayer, (although, obviously, many more remain there due to the deliberate wilfulness of pride.) Sensing a void in Catholic guidance here, I thought perhaps I could offer guidance to those Catholics who had questions about traversing the Mount of Perfection / The Nine Grades of Prayer / The Three Ages of the Spiritual Life, but I'll also respect if Jesus or the Moderators decide this isn't a good use of my time.

Peace in Christ.

Hello, I've been asked to introduce myself. I have been a member since the RooshV days, but never post. I do however enjoy reading the discussions.

I'm Catholic. I'm an American but I live in Annecy, France; near Geneva. I attend the church where St Francis de Sales preached. Any members or Frenchies who happen to be in the area, I'd be happy to meet you for a café.

Welcome Louis! It is great to read about your interest in making real life connections through CIK.

We offer a private meetup subforum where you can post a thread with an invitation to potentially connect with others. By creating a new thread in that subforum, this offers more visibility to existing members while remaining private. Threads in the meetup forum are accessible by approved members only and are invisible to the public.

Nice to meet you Louis. I've given you a Heritage badge. Welcome to CiK. :) ☦️

I was a member of the RVF but have always been a lurker. I love utilizing this site to follow articles that would otherwise fly completely under the radar and the members' insights and discussions in regards to news and cultural developments.

Agnostic is appropriate. I was born and raised Greek Orthodox but have struggled with my faith for quite some time now. My children are being raised devout Lutherans though. My middle has their confirmation coming up next month.

Please welcome our newest member @His_Holy_name
What happened to his profile? He was supposedly a new member here, but when I clicked on his account, it said "This user's profile is not available." Did he delete his account shortly after creating it, or did something else happen?

Please refrain from speculating about a member's past username, especially when they have stated that they do not wish to share it.

It's okay to ask new members if they were on RVF. Indeed, I would generally encourage ex-RVF members to keep using their prior username if they're comfortable. This helps readers to contextualise their posts and to calibrate our responses to them. For example, ex-RVF members will understand a lot more of our in jokes here.

However, it is important to respect fellow members' decisions regarding their information, just as you would probably like others to respect your own choices.

Be mindful of other's varying needs for privacy, and their desire to move on from the past. Many of us have been made anew and reborn through a personal revelation in Christ, and/or through transformational experiences across the decades of our lives. Many guys including myself came across RVF in our 20s (or 30s) and are now in our 40s (or 50s). Men worthy of respect are going to have made huge changes in that time. Hopefully CiK can offer such individuals a fresh opportunity -- free from the past -- to interact, bond, and give back to other members in whatever way they choose (within the forum rules and guidelines).

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and attribute this to a naive curiosity and nothing more. That said, please take this message seriously and do not repeat such speculation about other members.

I hope this clarifies things. Feel free to DM me if you want to discuss further. Welcome back and I hope you keep posting!

Thanks, a little bit about me, I’m a laidback Filipino American who grew up with a bunch of Latinos …lol at The Rio Grande Valley, TX. Im a Retired Disabled USAF Vet, I live with my parents and we take care of each other. Im a staunch Conservative who believe in God, Christian values and Brotherhood camaraderie amongst Men. I live a lifestyle of traveling back and forth with my parents to South East Asia and the States every 6-8 months. I love writing, pick up basketball with the guys, reading scriptures and books, lifting weights at the gym, martial arts, yoga, beer and pipe smoking with comrades and brotherly friends, bbq in the backyard with pinatas bashing and mariachis playing, playing acoustic guitar and volunteering at food banks and homeless shelters.

I wanna pass some love around and glorify Christ’s name man. It’s a privilege to be here.

He was banned as part of cleaning up a large batch of inactive accounts (no posts, reactions, etc). I un-banned him once I noticed. There is also a link on the ban message to the contact form where you can request help. I don't think he even logged in between the time he was banned and un-banned anyway.

My apologies. I'm still here. Understand, God has reduced my life to utter simplicity in Him, and He providentially orders my days. I'm effectively 'on call' with very little notice to work with Priests, Seminarians and Laity, many in moments of deep emotional crisis or spiritual attack. As such, the internet is of a low priority to me. Last night was simply the first time I'd been able to log on since I joined.

I have been writing something to post on spiritual matters in my downtime. Such things take time, contemplative prayer and patient inquiry to resolve any seemingly-initial conflict between Faith and Reason. It should be ready later this week.

Hello! Like others have mentioned, I was a lurker in the old RVF days under the username Mister Fingers. I posted there a few times but mostly kept silent and enjoyed the discussions so I don't know if it's appropriate for me to have a heritage badge.

I've been nominally Christian my whole life, as my parents raised me that way. I wasn't baptized in any church however and currently don't belong to one. I have friends that are also re-discovering their faith so that will likely change.

I appreciate this forum and have learned a lot from the discussions over the years. I hope to lurk less and become more active, and I appreciate @Servant of Christ for reinstating my account.
