Shout out to @chance vought for helping out a CIK brother and his family in the real world.

This is probably the best story of brotherly love and charity I've heard about in the history of CIK.

He has also dropped a lot of knowledge on bitcoin and related topics, and has donated to this site to help guarantee its continued operations.

It has been a year since TrainedLogosmotion was last with us. In fact, it has been so long that I can no longer tag his profile properly using the @ command.

Whenever I hear the name TrainedLogosmotion, this is the image that comes to mind.

In my mind, TrainedLogosmotion is a young man who loves the Lord Jesus Christ above all else. He remains steadfast in his obedience to the Lord for all eternity, living according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. He was once an ordinary person, but his acceptance of Jesus transformed his life. Now, he stands at the forefront of the battle against the evils of porn/fap, lust, and other addictions.

Although he is no longer with us, his posts remain on this forum. In the future, his insights on battling sins and vices will continue to help those in need. Just like Pook, who once posted on SoSuave, and Madcow, who contributed to various weightlifting forums—though they have long stopped posting, their words still guide others and future generations. In this same way, TrainedLogosmotion will always be a beacon of hope for those struggling with addictions to immorality.

Thread 'Monk Mode Celibacy'

This is a tough battle, in some ways harder than marriage or being an actual monk.

Many of us want chaste, trad wives. I don't think God will reward us with one without any concrete, properly directed efforts on our part to become 'clean'.

Not saying that's the only reason to do this of course, but I'm just highlighting one of the more common yearnings.

Some things that have helped me commit to monk mode celibacy, which I would like to share with you, and I think are helpful:

- Attend liturgy every single Sunday. No excuses. Also go to other events held at the church outside of...

I'd like to present a 90-day + Orthodox NOFAP spiritual real-life RPG game for anyone that would like to challenge themselves in a battle against the demon of lust.

Items you will need: an incense censer + incense, a pen/pencil, a paper calendar, lots of icons (print them out if you have to) + tape, & a permanent marker. Optional: Holy Water and Holy Oil to be used as needed and as you see fit.

Why did TrainedLogosmotion's profile picture changed to that and his tag to "Agnostic"? If it was his own decision then I respect that.

But if the moderators changed it themselves due to TrainedLogosmotion's last few posts, then I want to appeal against the decision. (I know this similar thing happened in the past, It_Is_My_Time once got his tag changed to "Pagan" before later reverted back to "Protestant")

TrainedLogosmotion helped me several times during my NoFap/NoPorn journey. He knows the severity of being a Fap/Porn addict and offered me support and advice...

Out of my deep respect for TrainedLogosmotion, I will never call him an apostate—he is a true Christian in my eyes. A more suitable term might be "the dormition of TrainedLogosmotion", though despite its pleasant rhyme, the language feels too flowery. Instead, I will refer to him as being in a state of sleep or repose.
 
Respect to the CiK super contributor, @budoslavic

He is #2 on the forum for both quant numbers of contributions (4000+ posts) and for member engagement (almost 21,000 reactions). This represents a huge effort that deserves recognition.

Between RVF 2.0 and CiK we lost a few members who could be counted on for keeping up the forum activity on a consistent basis. With this in mind, it's good to see the RVF 2.0 posting machine maintain his steady, reliable sharing and creation of content here.

Despite the sheer volume of his postings about various political, social, economic, and other topical issues, he seems to fly under the radar in terms of forum drama. I believe this requires a decent amount of calmness and humility.

I appreciate this approach to reporting information, data, and theories in a fairly objective and detached manner. This can allow forum debate to be more civil, more dynamic, and less biased towards a particular viewpoint.

He seems to quietly punch in and out without fuss, and with few if any demands of others, to consistently deliver a tailored and varied newsfeed at CiK.
