Beautiful stories about women

There's this lifelong female friend of mine whom I care about a lot. She was a raging feminist up until not too long ago. Recently, we had a heart to heart, and she told me that she just wanted to feel accepted by her peers, but she still was not, even after pledging allegiance to feminism. She is very tomboyish, and she is autistic, so other women have always been quite awful to her. That was the case when we were children, and it's still the case now. She told me she wishes she could have faith in God like mine. It was actually surprising to me that she saw me as a good Christian and even admirable, as she has seen some really bad behavior from me.

She has been slowly freeing herself from feminism. Recently, my parish priest told me that she had contacted him and had been asking him questions about the faith. She is very clearly trying and struggling to wrap her head around things like homosexuality being bad. Please pray for her, that God may lead her down the right path. I do not feel comfortable giving her advice or telling her what to do, as her disposition is such that attempting to do so will almost definitely just massively piss her off, and my oratory abilities are quite terrible in any case. There's not much I can do for her other than be there for her and pray.

Dr Joanna Howe is a Professor of Law at the University of Adelaide and a consultant with Harmers Workplace Lawyers.

My goal is to make abortion unthinkable because we know that it kills a human being and it harms her mother. I am fighting for an Australia where we recognise the human rights of babies in-utero and where we give concrete and meaningful support to women during pregnancy and beyond.

She is doing important work not just online but also in person, and is dedicated to the cause. I want to recognise her courage in standing up for those who have no voice.

Very nice, thank you. We have a beautiful icon of St. Thekla on the wall in my wife's office. ☦️

I’m posting this because I wanted to tell someone but didn’t have anyone to tell it to. I was at an ice rink and there were figure skaters practicing. It was mesmerizing. Their figures, their movements. Not a spare ounce of fat to be shared among them. There was one that looked, as I have no other words to describe her, flawless. A literal Disney princess brought to life, with a single braid of brunette hair going down the full length of her back. Women don’t wear their hair like that anymore and I don’t know why. No dyed hair, no tattoos, no sour looks, no yelling or cursing, no crass music, just pleasant smiles, laughter, and elegance.

Watching them skate in teams in perfect synchronized harmony was one of the most beautiful, delicate, graceful and feminine things I’ve seen in a while. I’d nearly forgotten what femininity looked like. With all the garbage we witness day to day, this felt like a shower for my brain.

I took an intro figure skating class back in the day. It was cheap through my university and I was bored and wanted to learn to skate. Turned out I was the only guy in the class which actually surprised me even though it shouldn't have. It was a lot of fun and helped improve my balance and coordination.

Any guy looking for a wife might want to get into figure skating because you'll have basically no competition in those circles. The women in my class were just average girls. But I bumped into the ones in the advanced classes and they were very fit, beautiful and feminine as you say.

Currently reading through the Old Testament from the start again to finally get all the way through this time. I usually start strong and then give up however many books deep. Last time that was the book of Judges. So I get to Exodus again and realize "how could I forget!?" The midwives of Egypt in Exodus chapter 1 refuse Pharaoh's orders to abort the sons of the Hebrews. Then Pharaoh's daughter has compassion for baby Moses and saves him from abandonment at the river. And of course God took care of all of them.

While randomly looking through statistics, I found that nowadays women mostly outnumber men as university students. Even in Islamic Southeast Asia, women outnumber men. I think it is good that women are becoming more ambitious and setting a higher bar for themselves.

Here is the university gender percentage in Indonesia:

Women made up about 54,8% of all university students in the country, while men are only 45,2%.

Surprisingly Brunei and Malaysia rank among the highest in female ratio:

Here is another stats as comparison, but it doesn't differ as much:

Women going to university makes them postpone child birth. For women to study and work they need to have a special regime for allowing them to be mothers. If society wants women to work we need to accept the extra burden of giving them motherhood privileges. Remote work. Part-time work, extra money etc. Making women choose between motherhood and career is madness. And killing societies.

And leadership positions should not be given to women. Even if they have the skills sometimes some do (Tatcher). It´s better for society and for them they dont have to be in those positions. Only exceptionally leadership positions be given. Generally if a women achieves a leadership position it´s because that position have been emptied of any power. A women leader is not a women. It´s something else.

Interestingly, I was originally thinking along these lines: if women become more educated and ambitious, then naturally they will seek men who are at least equal to them in capability, if not greater. This, in turn, forces men to either shape up or slip out. I think this is part of what makes men in Western countries—especially in the Anglosphere—so strong and competitive. Many men there lift regularly, travel widely, have well-paying careers, learn game, speak multiple languages, pursue interesting hobbies, and continually improve their skills and intelligence. In the end, because women are becoming more ambitious and men are adapting to these higher expectations, the nation as a whole prospers.

Conversely, in many non-Western countries such as those in Southeast Asia, women are generally not as ambitious or demanding, and therefore men have less incentive to pursue self-improvement. As a result, you can find truck drivers earning minimum wage, smokers, gamblers, and men without their own homes or cars still managing to find wives. These weaker men then tend to produce lower-quality families and children. Over time, this leads to a degradation in the overall quality of the population, making the nation less competitive compared to Western countries.

Not to mention, highly educated and ambitious women usually push their children to study harder and excel in multiple activities—such as learning math or languages at a young age. Meanwhile, women who are less educated and less ambitious are more likely to let their children remain mediocre.
