And that’s why they’re the second largest economy on the planet only 80 years after their country was in ruins. A single life time to go from a smoldering pile of rubble to a developed nation. Maybe they’re onto something? If the Chinese got involved with colonial adventures, they never would’ve let go of their colonies. Imagine Portugals Salazar on acid.
In the late 1970's, after Mao died, the Chinese were literally eating each other, so Deng Xiao Peng finalized the deals with the West that had been in the process of negotiation since the Nixon presidency.
The price for them was to pivot from murdering and starving to death millions of adults to aborting babies for the one-child policy (or if they were girls), and eventually the international forced organ transplant trade, so they also pivoted their cannibalism to a higher technological plane.
EVERYTHING was given to the Chinese on a silver platter. Treaties were made so that multi-national corporations could begin outsourcing and moving manufacturing abroad, as well as treaties like the WTO, that allowed China to flood Western markets with cheap goods made by slaves so that price points were impossible to compete with.
Chinese were brought to Western universities for education and training in every technical discipline, Xi's daughter famously went to school in America, while industry experts and academicians were sent to China in order to begin to establish education there, most of which had been destroyed or outlawed under Mao.
For decades this has continued as MNAC's have poured trillions of $USD into China, while we have simultaneously hollowed out our middle class and manufacturing. Everything that China has was gifted to them so that they could become the slave-labor sweat shop of the world in order to be a major part of the destruction of the West and its culture.
And if all of this aid were to stop, China would either collapse or merely regress into a large country of people with an average IQ around 80, ruled by an elite who, until recently, were barely any better, although they have sifted enough in recent decades so that there are some at the top who can cobble together plans they got from Western think tanks.
