Actions speak louder than words. We will see what Iran does.

I don't really follow any Arab media aside from al Jazeera but I guess it's a tightrope. Palestinian cause still has a lot of sympathy amongst Arab populations, even though decreasing. However almost all Arab leaders see the Muslim Brotherhood (Hamas) as a domestic threat, are not interested in any destabilisation spilling over, are working either overtly or covertly with Israel and consider Iran and the (by now defunct) Axis of Resistance the bigger threat.@LaAguilaNegra Do you know what other Arab states think right now? Who do they blame for the breakdown of the ceasefire?
Literally 5 minutes after HTS rolled into Damascus Hamas turned coat, ditched Iran and became buddy buddy with Jolani.
If Hamas is friendly with HTS, then why are Hezbollah having border skirmishes with HTS then?
The shia vs sunni sectarian divide. That's for starters. Next is Turkey vs Iran rivalry for regional hegemony.
Hezbollah adheres to Khomeinism, Khomeinism is ideologically centered around the Palestinian cause. Road to al Qods. Fighting Israel for them is a matter of streetcred and ideological purity. Hard to turn to pragmatism when Palestine is one of the pillars the house was built on.If Hamas is friendly with HTS, then why are Hezbollah having border skirmishes with HTS then?

I agree that it looks weird from the outside.
Today, the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is designating a “teapot” oil refinery and its chief executive officer for purchasing and refining hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of Iranian crude oil, including from vessels linked to the Foreign Terrorist Organization, Ansarallah, commonly known as the Houthis, and the Iranian Ministry of Defense of Armed Forces Logistics (MODAFL).
“Teapot refinery purchases of Iranian oil provide the primary economic lifeline for the Iranian regime, the world’s leading state sponsor of terror,” said Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent. “The United States is committed to cutting off the revenue streams that enable Tehran’s continued financing of terrorism and development of its nuclear program.”
OFAC is additionally imposing sanctions on 19 entities and vessels responsible for shipping millions of barrels of Iranian oil, comprising part of Iran’s “shadow fleet” of tankers supplying teapot refineries like Luqing Petrochemical.
