It's done on purpose to let crime get to really high levels to clear out most businesses, residents and property owners from an entire area, so later they can buy the entire area on the cheap.

Once they own everything, public law and order is restored very fast.

The Bidler admin has launched a scheme to turn high vacancy commercial buildings into residential. Could be lucrative. The started and growing mass shuttering of stores is also a great reset goal.

I hate how they give these illegal aliens $1 million downtown hotel rooms or apartments. Some cities the downtown homeless places only cost $500k, but that's still very hard for Americans to afford, and most of these refugees are scum. The other countries empty their prisons, then the uniparty pays to fly them here and drops them in our city centers.

Philadelphia - @TempleUniv student submitted video showing the on-camera interviews and reactions of students in the area after a 10/31/23 gunpoint robbery spree.

Students tell local media that they have to adjust their lifestyles to avoid what they say is constant violent crime in the area

One student explains how they have to travel during the day

Another student says she tries to stay inside her apartment as much as possible

Is this the desired college experience for students in Philadelphia?

How about getting far away from there and not coming back until the savages are pacified and a perimeter is secured?
 
Regarding shoplifting specifically, it's being allowed by globohomo in order to later offer a dialectical solution: the requirements for biometric IDs in order to enter stores. "Show your papers" in order to get access to purchase goods.

Of course, none of this is needed if stores were just allowed to prevent shoplifting in the first place and police and DAs would prosecute the criminals.

It's all so tiring.

On my latest trip to Sainsburys, every single special offer was now loyalty card only (a few clearance Christmas items excepted). This hasn't happened elsewhere (so far), so it looks like my shopping habits will change in the near future.

The area around Temple U has always been a pretty bad neighborhood. There's nothing there except the university itself and most kids at Temple are from middle or lower-middle class families so the political elites who send their kids to Ivy League colleges or at least to Penn State (which is in a rural part of the state about 3 hours from Philly) don't care about keeping it safe.

The more concerning thing is that it's spilling over into what were traditionally nicer parts of the city.
