I think it's just the way it is. Survey data somewhat approximates reality, at the time I read that in 2016 around 90% of govt employees (feds only? muni and state may vary by location red vs blue) voted for Hillary, the state machine is invincible, they would need to be replaced. When Poland regained independence in 1918, they didn't keep the bureaucrats who worked for Germany, Russia, and Austria, they started from zero, some were rehired after being vetted.
But at least they are catching violent criminals, but at a great cost, one step forward two steps back. It should have never come to that like many have observed. It's damage control, like fixing a broken car, the effort itself doesn't get you any further in life, trying to get out of a hole. I did notice a lot less Hispanics in grocery stores and parking lots, they're not as bold, in a Walmart I saw two Mexican women speaking in hushed tones in Spanish after Trump took power. It's always better than Democrats to me. The time to address these issues was in the 60s if not earlier, there should have been Constitutional amendments ratified. If you tolerate any injustice, a welfare state in 1962 for example, without any regard to those whom it pains, prepare to tolerate even bigger future perversions that will be abhorrent to you this time.
They do want us to treat it like a god while AI is just more sophisticated automation. It will not invent or discover anything, or react to remedy a completely unforeseen problem. In science magazines in the late 90s they were saying computer processors would soon have enough transistors to structurally mirror the number of synapses and neurons in the human brain. When I read it I thought alright, they should have enough to replicate a rat's brain- so you're saying your computer is already as cunning and full of surprises lol. Old rats send out younger ones to try the food they think is poison and watch them for a few days, nobody infused that knowledge in them, they watch and learn, their brains write their own code but they also frequently disobey the instructions at will.

A new citizen journalist has been monitoring the anti-ICE Signal chats coordinating the protestors to follow and obstruct ICE agents. The anti-ICE group is highly organized and has a structure and methodology based on previous insurrections around the world.
A number of state employees are involved in this, and they appear to be getting help from police as well to run license plates. Clearly this organization is getting lots of outside funding as well.
The revelation of this insurrection has raised another huge scandal on top of the scandal over funding of non-existent Somali daycare centers. Minnesota is full of every kind of corruption.
Also, Trump is now sending Tom Homan to MN to personally oversee the situation. The various pundits are saying that Walz has cracked under the pressure of all these things coming out in the open, and was forced to cooperate with Trump and provide this police support.
I hope all this corruption continues to unravel, and I hope Trump will push through and completely crush the resistance in MN. However, I'm afraid it's likely he will still be timid in the way he proceeds, instead of rounding up everybody as he ought to.
One problem with arresting all the dirty players is that it will be hard to bring them to trial and convict them. There are too many commie judges that will throw out even the strongest cases.

My take after a few days...
The incident itself was probably a bad shoot. Notice these were not ICE agents, but Border Patrol, who are used to working on the frontiers and have limited interaction with American citizens acting in this disruptive capacity. Majority BP encounters are likely either compliant illegal aliens or aggressive narco/human traffickers, both groups have limited rights and expectations to civil liberties unlike US citizens.
Bovino has a history of running hot and heavy, especially in the Southwest. You can agree or disagree with the methodology and results, but these are facts. Noem and Lewandowski gave him this de-facto "Commander At Large" title and put him in these high-optics situations, again, for better or worse.
One thing I will say is Noem is stupid for blowing her mouth off conflating carrying a pistol and "extra magazines" with intent to do mass harm to BP agents. This sets a bad precedent if you're in favor of 2A and all that goes along with it. You cannot determine intent by mere presence of a weapon, especially one that is lawfully processed and lawfully carried, which Pretti was doing. This doesn't ameliorate the fact that he should've minded his own business, but these again are facts.
I have no doubt Homan will continue carrying out the enforcement actions, but in a way that is more optically-palatable to the masses of normies. I know most of us have no problem with street sweeps and mass deportations conducted like THE SEIGE with metros sealed off and agents going block-to-block rounding up illegals, but this is visually unacceptable to normies and we must understand that. Homan works methodically and rationally, preferring to draw mass media attention to the rapists, chomos, murders, etc. that very few can defend.
Remember that people look to see themselves reflected in the media, especially in victims. Speaking to this, Pretti is the most 'normal' person so far the left has as a martyr - Good was a divergent lesbian with questionable parenting credentials and George Floyd was a criminal Fentanyl enthusiast.
In the end, I'd rather see Homan take full reigns over ICE/BP operations domestically and be "Commander At Large" and Noem can go count boxes of MREs for FEMA distribution and worry about airport scanners. She's not cut out to do this.
