Wonder how many of these US taxpayers were footing the bill for?

The irony is that international law was selectively applied to further the interests of the US and Israel, and no one else, aside from occasionally the EU vassal states. But that wasn't enough. Now that the US wants to constantly break every law in the most visible way, even to normies, Trump has decided to walk away from it all.

The bottom line is that the US and clown world nations will never again be able to use 'International Law' as a justification for actions taken. There will be no crying to the UN, or attempting to build a global concensus for action against 'rogue' states. That whole charade is gone forever.

Sure... Why not?

When you control the world media, the reserve currency, and have the strongest military in the world.... Why wouldn't you say "it's my life. I do what I want!!!!" In your loudest Cartman yell possible?

I'm not saying that is good or bad, but factually you can't expect the biggest economic engine , most seasoned military, and communications and cultural monopoly to give a shit about other countries rules. Not at least if you were expecting a ruler to wield power effectively.

Trump just said the quite part out loud. And he's probably right.

The UN is a joke. NATO is a joke.

Also that quote/article is one of the gayest attempts to paint Trump like an unhinged nut I've seen in a while.

Youre retweeting something that reads like a tabloid...and feeding into the tabloid drama. Good job!

"Oh my God guys the orange man is gonna disregard all international law !!! Eeeeekkkk the sky is falling !!!! They're is no more credibility for the US."

It's been a while since we had credibility beyond our big stick ... But in the land of the blind, the one eyed jack (with a big stick) is still king.

During the Clinton administration, the US military had 2 million active duty. Before 9/11 the military budget was $200 billion. Now the budget is $1 trillion, there are only 1.3 million active duty, including thousands of women, thousands of diversity, thousands of sex deviants & trans, thousands of green carders, and thousands who don't even speak english.

The overall competence has decreased, for example in the Afghanistan withdrawal, and many top generals openly defied Pres. Trump during his first term.

I think the corruption has gotten so bad, for example the problems with the F-35's, that more money will make the US military worse.

They should have used a regular numbered list rather than Roman numerals.

Otherwise, this is great! I hope they drop out of a lot more. Every one of these results in regulations, bureaucrats, forms for businesses to fill out, fines for not filling out the forms, inspectors to seek out violations and apply the fines, appeals processes to fight the fines, employees in various businesses and other organizations to track compliance and try to avoid fines, etc.

If there was any USA organization that needs an audit, it’s the military. They definitely don’t need more money. They simply need an audit, $1Trillion/ year on military spending is insane, and $1.5 trillion is even more insane

Trump on limiting excesses related to usury, putting a 10 percent cap on credit card interest rates.

"Calling for a cap" LOL. Let's see if the usurers and moneylenders decide to heed his "call". I'm going to really go out on a limb here and guess that they won't.

But at least he can pretend that he tried! The People's President!

Yes and this is what Hegseth was appointed to clean up.

I saw the .mil/recruiting pipeline from the Iraq Surge until I got out in 2019. The majority of men in leadership in the Marine Corps, Colonel and below at least were good dudes. Above that the Obama era politics had really taken hold.

Fraud waste and abuse among the Army and Navy in particular.

Yes, just yesterday I was talking about this with someone and he said "how can you just take Greenland?" Just move in and take it, obviously, I said. His mind was blown.

I used to do contract work for the US military overseas. I remember always feeling dismayed at the massive amount of single mothers, especially in the army.

The problem is it’s Danish, do we declare war on Denmark and have Americas most ridiculous, and probably shortest, war ever?

Second - world precedent. Doing stuff like this actually negatively affects Americas dominance because as we go, so does the world. We kind of blew up our own order. What’s to stop China from going “this is our Monroe Doctrine? Get out of our back yard. We don’t want you in the Philippines and Japan anymore. Leave or we’ll destroy your bases” or Putin thinking “wait, I can kidnap people?”

Under the Biden admin, they cashiered the only person who spoke one single word of criticism about the failed Afghanistan withdrawal, a USMC Lt. Colonel. I don't really think that was just because of it happening when Biden was pres., but due to the sycophantic expectations in the US military since a long time ago.

I've gotten the impression from reading Vox Day that the US, or at least some of the power brokers, recognize our sunsetting empire and decided it'd be easier to control our own hemisphere, which contains resources in Venezuela and Greenland, to survive against the inevitable domination of the Eastern hemisphere. Will it work? Can we sustain without the product of White Americans? Probably not, and it seems like desperation, or the powers that be using Trump as the ultimate scapegoat to bring in every backup thing they want to extend their power as much as possible.

To be honest, an American Empire including Greenland, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Cuba, Venezuela, and Colombia would be pretty strong. Incredible resources, huge population including peon workers for cheap factories, as well as world class knowledge knowledge industries. If the Eurasian landmass becomes a unified economic alliance, then having much of the New World locked up would be a solid answer as the US response.

We ought to take the Philippines back for good measure.

It would be excellent, but only if the Republicans stay in power for the foreseeable future, similar to how Russia works with an ethnically diverse, but still conservative population.

DEI stuff would absolutely wreck the country under democratic rule, given that they could somehow legally import millions of people monthly.

Agreed. Some kind of restoration of law and order and pro-family policies would be essential. These could and should be done regardless of taking any new territory, and it will be useless to take new territory if we're just swirling down the toilet of late stage decadent collapse.

It's all just hypothetical projection anyway. Fun to think about but about 99.8% unlikely. I think the Greenland thing is as much as 50% likely, but any other territory is very low probability.
